We stopped here for lunch while traveling and had a wonderful experience. The menu had plenty of nice options. Josie was a great server. Very friendly and professional. Our meal was delicious! We were able sit outside on a beautiful September day. We really enjoyed it.

Actually one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I made a reservation with no expectations, we’ve just seen the sign when we go to the farmers market and with my mom in town thought we would give it a try… Wow. Josey was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing, you can tell she is passionate about the restaurant and about the food. She was so helpful and bubbly and nice and made everything sound so good!
The blackberry mocktail I had was delicious! Josey recommended a special Barbie drink they had to my mom and made sure to tell the bartender it was non alcoholic which changed the ingredients quite a bit but we still got a cute pink drink with cotton candy :)
For food we ordered both specials: a bass dish and a ribeye dish, and I ordered the pork chop. SO good. My boyfriend noticed half way through that he was using a butter knife on the steak instead of the steak knife they gave him, so that should tell you the tenderness of the rib eye! Every bite of everything was delicious, which is so rare these days to love everything you try at a restaurant. For dessert we did the sticky toffee cake and then crème brûlée and they were also amazing. 10/10 would recommend. GREAT food GREAT service and cute atmosphere

This place is great! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable & make great recommendations. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant.

Had a great dinner at Rocktown Kitchen. Our server Josie recommended the Chilean Sea Bass dinner special and it was absolutely delicious. Great meal and service. Will definitely come back next time we are in Harrisonburg.

Fantabulous food, service, and atmosphere! A little spendy (well worth it), so more of a special occasion restaurant for dinners. The Red Snapper daily special was phenomenal. And three salmon one in our party had was the best we've had in some time. Reasonably priced lunch specials. Great drinks, too!

Loved the vibe at this cheerful farm-to-table restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, with friendly staff and multiple TVs showing various sporting events. My entire meal was delicious. I kicked it off with the beef and vegetable soup of the day which was quite tasty. I then had the Braised Beef special which was moist and plentiful. For dessert, I had the chocolate brownie which was warm and sweet. Glad that I had dinner with my family here while visiting JMU.

Great food, excellent service in a warm and busy setting. They highly recommend reservations, and I agree based on our experience, but we arrived at about 8:00 pm and were able to get a table in less than five minutes. I would not show up earlier than that on a weekend without a reservation and expect to dine. The menu is focused on certain seasonal/regional components; expect a good selection but not an overwhelming array of options. We tried a couple of the daily specials, but the Saturday prime rib was sold out by the time I ordered (was kinda expected). Cocktails were made perfectly. Prices were maybe on the high end for the location (Harrisonburg) but worthy of the quality - we walked away with a $200 check for 1 app, 2 entrees, 1 desert, and 4 drinks, tax and tip included.
