Ramapo for Children

My son was accepted to Rampo this year for session 3 July 31st for 3 weeks all paperwork was filled out medication sent and spoken to by several experts and Mike Kunan deliberately cut my son out for no reasons besides discrimination saying because an advocate called to let them know that on the 3/4 hour drive there my son might need to be medicated ... his psychologist being called by Mike Kunan was nothing but disrespectful when asked to speak to the actual director whom is a woman and hung up rudely displaying that someone with financial stability who can grease his pockets could get in to Rampo but not my son .....I'm currently open to receiving feedback by professionals and lawyers have been contacted regarding this situation!

A child was accepted to the camp, and then denied for no reason last minute. Mike is displaying discrimination and not being cooperative when asked to speak to a director. Dear Mike, you are not in charge, lawyers will be in touch.

Great family and young child friendly (cabins) for a weekend of camping.

We rented the Markus Lodge (highly recommend) for my family of four which was clean, comfortable and more than enough space for late night games/scary stories.

I—the kids, loved the ropes course, lake trampoline and spending hours kayaking, swimming, fishing and other water activities. Families adhered to social distancing, dinner was allowed to be taken by the lake/cabin and camp fire/s’mores was limited to the four families.

Ramapo does a great job of ensuring diversity is a priority not only with their staff but also with campers/families, geographic locations and socioeconomics backgrounds.

Truly commend and thank the staff for their efforts and dedication in making this summer somewhat normal for my family.
