The Philips Museum tells the complete story of the early history of Philips, and it’s development in the past few years. It’s truly remarkable to get to know little facts about everything Philips did for their employees and the region. The museum includes a small shop and bar as well, and is pretty modern altogether. Would recommend going here for an hour or two to learn more about Philips it’s

Simply a wonderful experience and visit!! So well organized, easy to walk through, and a wide impressive history of Philips Company. The exhibits and all items are breathtaking and traveled you back in the past to the first radios and TVs we had. A great story of the history of the factory through its years. Definitely worth a visit, and the personel is very happy to welcome you.
The museum tells the story of the Philips company from its founding in 1891 by Gerard and Frederik Philips through to the present day where it's known for medical equipment, consumer electronics and home appliances and yes, light bulbs.
Lots to see and movies to watch, most of it in Dutch with English captions. So much history of this massive conglomerate company! There is of course a gift shop and I picked up a new fridge magnet.

A "must see" museum if you are in Eindhoven, kind English speaking staff, nicely elaborated descriptions of the exhibits also in English, many interesting exhibits inside, even the children were excited, you can easily spend 2 hours inside, the toilets, hangers for clothes, and even small cafe available, children can do a quiz using a torch and you can also find many interactive panels there, the old Philips electronics was amazing, I like to remember those times, Cons: the part with hand-works is only for reservation
A museum showing the history of the Philips company. Philips is a huge part of the Eindhoven culture, and the several companies split from Philips is one of the main drivers of Eindhoven’s popularity. However, the museum was quite short and I didn’t feel like I could get a sense of the company’s history. There were a lot of children attractions if you are into that.
This wasn't too far of a walk from Eindhoven Centraal station. The museum pass can be used here. The staff showed the lockers, toilets and then the start of the museum, extremely helpful. Overall the museum gave a nice overview of the company, from the very beginning to the evolution of future state of the organization. Really nice to see how the technology has gotten especially nowadays. This museum should take around 1-3 hours depending on how fast or slow you go!
Nice museum, with a lot of information and variety. There is a timeline with all the main events, there is the old fabric where the first bulb was created (also visible in one of the photos I have added), interactive games for children through out the rooms of the museum, exhibition of Philipps products and evolution of these through the time. There are also some videos: one is a puppet show (prince electron) of a couple of minutes, another is a documentary about the WW2 period, and others.
There is the possibility to get audio guides in multiple languages.
It is suggested for families, schools and also for anyone else with or without children.
Reasons why I didn't give 5 stars: no possibility to pay in cash (only cards) and the bar of the museum has a very limited food option (4-5 foods only) with no food options without milk and/or gluten.
