MOFU Japanese bakery

For Christmas dinner, we ordered two Strawberry Shortcake Christmas cakes (we had 8 people) and they were a huge hit! The cake itself is so delicious and great for any special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself! You can order by Instagram DMs and they were very accommodating. Not only that, but they are open til midnight! That’s so rare here but awesome! Thanks Mofu for making our Christmas desserts amazing!

I've been following MOFU's instagram for a while, drooling over their cakes in a can and mochi muffins. So my kids and I finally visited and OMG I need to go back right now! It's a simple shop but perfect for grabbing yummy treats to take home.

There are a bunch of cake in a can flavors and I pretty sure we tried most of them and LOVED them all. I had the Matcha and Red Bean and I want another one right now. 🤤

There were lots of pretty cakes and it was cool that they were all Gluten free. The chestnut cake was really moist with a nice subtle sweetness so we'll definitely be trying more.

We loved this Cake so BERRY much🍓We got Strawberry Whole Roll Cake, and Tofu Cheesecake. Strawberry Whole Roll Cake was AMAZING, the Cake itself was bouncy, moist, airy, the Strawberry Cream was light, and delicious, we highly recommend getting this Cake Roll, you’ll be sure to love it! Tofu Cheesecake was so GOOD, the Cheesecake itself was smooth, jiggly, creamy, we could taste the Tofu in it, and the perfect sweetness, a MUST!

Can finally say I’ve had this Japanese bakery under my food belt and no disappointments at all

Unfortunate that j town lost mofu but also lucky for us, they’re at sky city which is a haven for food!

The cake in a can is just genius to start with. The strawberry shortcake itself was soft and moist. The cream was airy and light and boded well with the citrus burst of the strawberries

Of course I also had to get their roll cake slice as it just looked to good to pass up. The chestnut cream was perfect! Nice smooth cream and you definitely get that strong chestnut flavour

And it wouldn’t be a visit to a Japanese bakery without getting a mochi. Had the custard mochi and usually the filling is the star, but the mochi skin itself was so delicate and the perfect chewiness

They were giving away cake rusks with a minimum purchase and I thought ok, cool. But I would never have thought I’d say, you have to try their cake rusks! So good! A little crunch and perfect texture and flavour. You get the hit of sweetness and it’s just so satisfying!

Service, nailed it! On point! The staff were all super helpful and explained everything to me from the different lines of products to what flavours were the ones they thought were their favourites

I know I’m gonna be returning for more of their yummy treats!

Came here to get the canned cakes! We got the strawberry shortcake and the mango one. Both were good and the mochi was great too! Thank you for the excellent service! Definitely will come back again!

The bakery is inside the moge tee bubbletea shop. I tried the tofu cheesecake which was very good and I recommend. Their daifuku mochi was much cheaper than competitors, 2 for $6 but I wouldn’t get it again as it was just okay. You get what you pay for there. I have to come back to try the roll cakes. The cream and ingredients are very fresh.

I ordered my wife’s birthday cake from here, and the day of pickup there was a huge snow storm. The baker/owner updated us throughout day as they tried to figure out how to get into the store. After working very hard, they were able to bake and provide the cake. We enjoyed it and highly recommend the bakery. We had the tofu cheesecake. Will definitely come again.
