Today was my first time stopping in. Wow!! Just amazing! Gorgeous paninis all lined up at the front, with delectable desserts further back. And of course you can’t forget their collection of vienoisseries. All look perfect and it makes it hard to pick. And they taste…so buttery and flaky and delicious!

Go today.

The best pastries and baked goods place in Montreal! Their sandwiches are great for lunches (delicious and filling). We live two blocks away and it’s our weekend treat and sometimes mid week :) The place is clean, friendly and they always have fresh food! Hands down the best in Mtl! 🥳 Kind of reminds me of the bakery/ patisserie shops in France 🇫🇷❤️

I've lived in a few different places in Montreal and can confidently say that Croissant Monkland makes the best chocolatine I've tried. They knock it out of the park with everything else as well: crepes, croissants, bread, cakes etc. Truly.
And the staff is always nice and courteous and on the ball.
I would easily give it 5 stars but I will say there are two small drawbacks.

1) they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Mondays aren't so bad, but Sunday is THE bakery day in my opinion. But I'm sure they have their reasons.

2) The organization in terms of clientele is a little haphazard. While it is a totally smooth experience when there aren't many people, it becomes a bit of a free for all when it's busy. You have to be ready to play a game of human chess so people don't accidentally (or purposely sometimes) cut in front of you. It's a bit anxiety inducing unless you've lived in France, in which case cutting in front of people and getting cut in front of is sort of par for the course. However, to me personally, it's a big pet peeve, but maybe I'm just being precious.
Overall, best baked goods in town, always go here when I can and take people who are visiting.

Personally I think they have the best croissants in Monkland village/NDG. Super reasonable prices, great sandwich selection, solid bread options, love their viennoiseries. This really reminds me of bakeries in France, unpretentious and tasty baked goods with a lunch option.

I liked the place. They have plenty of delicious pastries that you would like to try all of em. However, I gave them 4 stars because they don't have syrups like vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, dulce de lache etc. etc. for your coffee.
That would be great if they add some syrups so we can have them in our coffee:) all in all, good place. I recommend it.

Really good pastries and lunch food. Hot espresso-based drinks are fantastic, especially lattes and mokas. I would not recommend their iced coffees, they weren't great. Staff are always polite and helpful. They do not offer dine-in options (no tables or chairs), so keep that in mind if you want a place to sit down and relax. Not wheelchair accessible, nor is there a lot of parking. Overall I like this place very much and will continue to purchase their lattes and other pastries, to go.

Awesome! Crêpe sandwiches are delicious and they have a great variety of baked goods. Good quality products, but I don't know if they do anything to reduce acrylamide formation in their products. Most places don't, but a few are proactive about it. Aside from that the woman was super friendly.
