First thing’s first-the owner and operator, Sammy(?) is absolutely charming. Moisson Beaubien is exactly the kind of local business that the city needs more of-unpretentious, sincere and an atmosphere of warmth generated by the genuinely nice proprietor. Not to mention their fantastic and moderately priced food and coffee. We will definitely be going back.
No smile, coffee wasnt great, barely any choice. There are a lot of great bakeries around, you can skip this one.

Have lived in the area for 3+ years now, and this is my go to spot! I am always greeted with a smile, and kindness. Good spot for quiet reading or studying. Worth looking past its humble front, and supporting truly local Ma and Pa businesses!

I've lived in the area for nearly a year, have never seen a customer inside, but always resolved to give it a go. Yesterday a mate and I visited and have resolved to never do so again. The baked goods look depressing and of questionable quality, and the decor does not instil confidence. The reheated empanada like pastry was an utter let down and could not be saved by its inexpensive price. My friend summed up the experience as such, 'I feel like I'm a broke student traveling through Spain again because it's a beautiful day and I'm eating cheap and terrible Spanish food while walking down the street.'

There is no shortage of top quality boulangeries in the area, save yourself disappointment, time and money and visit one.
