Central Coffee Co

Decided to try this coffee shop out after a recommendation from a friend. It's located right down the street from my job. Came around 9 am. on a Wednesday, and it was not busy. Parking is very small with about 5 spaces to choose from. I ordered a Hazelnut iced latte with a double espresso shot. It was definitely strong, but I wish it had more flavor. Either way, it was very tasty, and I loved it. I ordered their spinach and Swiss quiche, which was DELICIOUS! & Only for $5, YES, PLEASE! I will definitely be coming back to try out other coffees and pastries. I recommend this little mom and pop coffee shop.

I love this place. I come here almost every morning before work and it's the best part of my day. I love the employees (Shye, Chloe, Abigail, Morgan and the rest!) and I absolutely love their espresso here. I've tried a lot of coffee shops in Charlotte and Central by far has the best tasting espresso for drinks and will always be my first choice!

Also, to the negative reviewers who can't get cold foam etc here.....maybe try the starbucks down the street? This isn't a chain coffee shop, so maybe stick to your chains if your expectation is for small coffee shops to have the same products :)

The young lady who served me was very nice to the customer ahead and went above and beyond to help her. It was my turn and I was not given the same service I clearly wanted some help and some opinions about what would taste good for my drink because I’m not a big coffe drinker. Spent $8 on the drink and hated it she looked annoyed at me and even gave better customer service to my friend who was not a black woman. She then proceeds the leave my cup on the counter while everyone else was handed there drinks in hand. I am a black woman jus to put it out there.

The staff here are very kind and accommodating. It is a calming and small place to get work done or to catch up with friends. I got the 16 oz latte with 1 pump of lavender vanilla syrup and 1 pump of white chocolate syrup. They’re both a very nice combination if you have a sweet tooth. I would like to dine in the next time I come!

The best Filthy Chai Latte I’ve had to date. My wife order matcha latte in almond milk with white mocha. No complaints over here. Don’t change your recipe and process. Happy customers from Atlanta!

Been here a few times this fall. Nice place to get focused work done for a few hours. Wi-Fi. Lighting is more on the dim side, kinda nice. Chill vibe. Try the quiche, coffee, bagels - it’s all good. Friendly crew. Quick service. Note: Best for solo work or 2 people. As of now only one table for a larger group (4-5).

This is my favorite coffee shop in Charlotte. I’ve been coming here for about 8 years, regardless of all the new places springing up and the other options around town. This place has the perfect vibe: It’s a neighborhood joint with great coffee and chill staff and zero annoying coffee pretentiousness. Get a Central Shorty. It’s a small single shot latte with a hint of vanilla. Anna gets the 2019 Best Shorty Award according to me and verified by an independent 3rd party. FYI.
