They had an event on August 2nd 2022. And they had stuff that they were giving away it was just kind of a nice 2-hour event from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. . I got to meet a lot of nice people and they loaded me up with covid tests some masks as well as some literature on the woodhaven business improvement district. If you don't know anything about business improvement districts you should, there I think about 110 in New York City and they support businesses. It was a hot day they were at the corner of Forest Park parkway or something like that in Jamaica avenue there are a lot of little restaurants in the area with my first time in the area on foot there's a little Park like place right next to the Chase Bank where they held this with seating and depending on the time of day you'll be in or out of the Sun, yesterday was very hot so they weren't that many sitting there. But a fun time

Woodhaven New York is rich in history and potential. It is home to greatness from Mae West, Danny Kaye, Adrian Brody, Betty Smith- author of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Fed Trump and so many more every day heroes.
President Richard Nixon visited the Cordon Bleu back in the 1970s, the Marx brothers lived next door in Richmond Hill. Forest Park is an Environmental and recreational treasure and home to one of the few operating carousels in New York City. Neirs Tavern, Schmidt's chocolates, Manor Delicassen, All Saints, All Nations and Saint Thomas Church are part of Woodhaven's unique foundation which for decades have provided that Mayberry Community charm.
The Woodhaven Business Improvement District continues to restore Woodhaven's home town feel seeking out quality people who want to do business as part of our family.
Whether you come with your family as a resident or new business, we welcome you home.
