The people and officers are great while the need to visit aren't always pleasant. The same can be said about most county facilities with the exception of the wonderful parks and the Hudson County Schools of Technology.

People who should be answering the phones to provide helpful answers to questions instead make you seem like an idiot for asking questions related to the court or being diligent. Sorry we’re not sitting inside of a court house 365 days a year, we don’t know how it works.

Judge Maloney is actually not so bad he listens to whatever I had to say and my case was drop he was so nice. All thanks to him.

I have been attempting to resolve a landlord-tenant case for the better part of two-and-one-half years through this courthouse. While my lawyer has been excellent, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, the court system has for the past year failed to address my docket until / unless I call in and ask about it. Even then, I must call back because of some unexpected change which was not properly communicated. For example, I call in to ask about having an officer serve an arrest warrant in my docket, I provide the last known addresses, and then three weeks pass with no change. Upon calling in, it is because the courts do not know which address to try first, so I am advised to call the courthouse and direct them...except they are on lunch break for two hours, a meeting for another hour past that, and when I finally get someone on the line, he puts me on hold for another hour, where I get no one and the courthouse's closing time comes and goes.

I am aware of the adage of the wheel of justice turning slowly, don't get me wrong, but for things to take this long -- where only calling in and requesting my docket be manually reviewed results in any form of change -- then I have to agree with previous reviews left by Olmiss Peralta, G. Evan McMahon, and Crystal Livingstone, in that this courthouse desperately needs more workers to lighten the load, so people do not have to wait an unreasonable amount of time to reach some form of case conclusion, for better or worse.

They either need MORE PEOPLE WORKING AT THE PHONE . Because who ever is on the desk phone it’s NOT DOING THEIR JOB. It’s SO SAD , you call and ask for an information and they can’t find it or don’t know how to look it . Need BETTER PERSONAL a hope they get new staff , more professional.

Judge Maloney is a rude terrible judge! Dismissed my tenant case owes me thousands of dollars! These judges should have these non paying tenants in their houses!

Eviction Case filed 8 months ago: Gainfully employed tenant has decided to no longer pay rent. (As the owner, I don't believe it is right to stop paying my part on the house, bills, mortgage or taxes). Yet no court date for nearly a year..."Justice delayed, is no justice at all" (concrete plaque outside the court house).
