This is a super fun place to come with young children. You can enter free and see a lot of different types of animals up close in their cages such as birds, turtles, lizards, snakes, bunny rabbits, Guinea pigs, and much more! A neat educational experience for young ones.

I love bringing my daughter to this program. The summer’s are worth it and I can’t wait for the new one to open.

I truly enjoy Alley Pond Park because there is plenty of space and areas that one can become one with nature.

Alley Pond Park has baseball courts, a playground, a walking trail, picnic areas, a nature preserve, a golf course, and much more.

I recommend this park for anyone that is looking forward to relax and enjoy peace and tranquility.

Protected green areas in excellent condition, as well as parking and children's locations; They should improve the conditions of the restrooms.

We have been part of Alley Pond environmental center homeschool program for 3 years. We love this place, teachers are kind and knowledgeable, science curriculum is hands on and the best part is animals! My son always talks about snakes and rabbits that visit a classroom. This is a great resource for homeschooling families in NYC.

I was really disappointed with the way spokes person they chose to speak to children. He didn't speak with patience. Plus spoke a hour in a half walked them outside to show them things they see everything. To me this trip was a waist of money & time. He spoke about mom's milk , wine telling the kids they only have 1 chance to touch the animals because they are his. I will love a refund for my $27. He pretty much got paid to tell the kids what they learned in school already and to speak like they aren't 1st graders. But everyone experience is different. A room full of animals.

AEPC is a hidden gem for Northeastern Queens. Especially, families with young kids please come and enroll in their fantastic enriching classes. Story time for toddlers, science pods, nature hikes you name it!
