Amazing greek restaurant in Sarasota! Traditional greek dishes, amazing wine selection, great service. Feels like you are in Greece!

We went a few times and loved everything we had. The eggplant dip, saganaki, lemon potaotes, pita, everything was unreal. Also had a very good wine we had never tried before.

We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Best meal we have had in a VERY long time. We chose to go with fresh vegan small plates... AMAZING. The yellow lentil dip and the red pepper dip were amazing with the warm pita served as the side. The vine leaves /dolmades were some of the freshest and tastiest in flavor and quality we've ever had. Blows canned, Trader Joe's, Wegmans, everything, out of the water. The beet and apple salad was fantastic with the earthiness of roasted beets paired with the crunch of a granny Smith in a light vinaigrette and a crunch of walnuts was light and refreshing. Next up we ordered Giant Beans... RICH FLAVOR of a tomato based sauce with green pepper and onion in a red wine reduction... So savory and flavorful... Beans were perfectly creamy and sauce was perfectly matched. Finally flashed fried artichoke hearts perfectly plated with a complimentary balsamic glaze. Amazing wine selection. I chose white, john chose a crisp rosé. I did sneak in the meatballs, in honor of my friend's mother Odette, who passed away. The tzatziki was so light did not overwhelm the greek-ness of the meatballs. We were so happy with this entire small plate experience. The entire staff is to be commended for making this experience so welcoming and enjoyable.

After a day of running errands, we decided to try something new for dinner. I quick call to Blu Kouzina and we had a table for two reserved for the two of us. Once we arrived, we were seated immediately indoors in a table for two. The indoor dining has large sliding glass doors that kept things airy and fresh inside. There is also a nice sized patio dining area that you can't beat. The decor inside and out is a combination of mediterranean, Greek-style and seafaring throughout. I beautiful cozy dining experience both inside and outside. We ordered the Lamb Kebab (Arni Kebab) two in-house ground lamb patties served on a pita bread with imam sauce, tomato onion mix and fries. And for an appetizer we tried the Meatballs (Keftedes) their own ground beef meatballs served with a side of tzatziki. They served us fresh bread rolls with olive oil, spectacular! The food was amazing and served very timely with great service all around. It's casual dining at its finest. They are Dinner, Greek, Healthy, Lunch Specials, Mediterranean, Vegan, Vegetarian. Parking is available on the adjoining streets and about one block away, a short walk, there is garage parking as well. It's located right down the street from St. Armands Circle and after dinner or lunch you can take a nice stroll down to Lido Key Beach for an epic beach experience with extraordinary sunsets.

Blu is my new favorite color! Everything was absolutely spectacular. We had the octopus, chicken wrap, chicken kalamaki, Greek salad, lentil soup and the skillet cheese with figs. The house Chardonnay (Golden Lions) could beat Napa’s best. My family has never been happier!

Beautiful “blue” space with some of the most delicious gourmet Greek food ever. The hummus was so rich and flavorful. The Cornish hen was tender and juicy, and the potatoes were incredibly tasty. The pastitsio was on point…made to order fresh and very light, unlike that of other Greek restaurants that slap a lasagne-like microwaved piece on a plate with bechamel as thick as pudding. We can’t fail to mention the carbonated greek mineral water, Zagori…like no other we’ve ever had. Props to Vinnie, our waiter, who provided such friendly and professional service. Will definitely dine here again.
