Balm

Food was ok but was expecting better giving the fact its in a hotel. Staff wasn‘t friendly I understand because i came 2020 night. However, they could have been nicer. I ordered burger fries and side Salad it taste good but they forgot to even add cutlery 😂😂 so was not best surprise.

This is not a good restaurant. Food was bizarre, they overcharged for the orange juice that went with our drinks... The server was nice but didn't do anything to accommodate or add to the atmosphere. After the meal it took almost 30 min to run my card because two of their readers weren't working (?) almost felt like a scam in some way. This is very clearly a hotel restaurant and not a fine dining establishment but we were waiting for a bus at the airport and there was no other option, I really do believe they could have done better.

Edit: our party has now come down with some extreme food poisoning that we believe is due to the veggie burger eaten here tonight. We will not be returning.

Looking at all the negative reviews and staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel, I thought why not. Pleasantly surprised; food not gourmand but fine; service, which seems to have been the main issue in previous reviews, was actually pretty good, especially as the restaurant was full - no waiting to order, informed on possible delays in the kitchen & generally smiles rather than frowns. One quibble - it makes no sense to pay at the bar when the bar is busy & there is only one person working at the bar. Otherwise absolutely fine.

The reviews below are correct because the service is terrible. Stood there waiting over 10mns for someone to stop and ask me what i wanted while waiting for the hostess.

Beef carpaccio was dry, unseasoned. Bread was hard. Gnocchi was okay. Im a foodie and i didnt even bother to take one picture of my food.

At the end, i waited 15mns for someone to remove my plate and when i asked for the check, i was told that it couldnt be brought at my table and that i had to go get it at the bar.

Arrived at the bar, I was asked whats was my table number( tables didn't have numbers) and then ask to pay without seeing the invoice or knowing the amount.

Overall one of the most disappointing restaurants I've been in France as a whole.

I actually had a very positive experience. I had dinner alone and the food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, the service was actually friendly and rather quick, the waiter spoke English, and the atmosphere is chill. I had a good dinner!

One very basic and supposedly obvious guideline in working in a restaurant is that if your customer has come alone and sits by themself, they should receive the exact quality of service as someone else sitting with a group, partner, etc. Unfortunately however, many restaurants that I go to don’t seem to know this. The lady in charge of my service was so ignorant and mostly paying attention to the busier tables, or the ones she thought were more interesting maybe? I had to constantly look for her and wait so long to ask for something if she passed my table by chance. I also look younger than my age, but even age shouldn’t matter in this regard. It’s like the basic terms of service. Anyway, the food was ok, and the atmosphere was very nice.

The atmosphere of the place is nice, but the bad services makes this place unpleasant. The stuff are rude and arrogant and definitely they must be trained to treat customers with kindness! We were told to order drinks at the bar in evenings and at the bar we were told, take a seat and someone will come to take the order and after nobody comes. I don’t recommend this place if you want to enjoy your evening! As well the prices/food quality are not worth!
