Boardwalk Cafe

Honestly, we've been there three or four times and the staff have already noticed us returning (we got the same table like three times in a row, so that helped). We love the food, we love the diner atmosphere, there's never a super long wait, and the food doesn't take forever to come out. Value is great for what you get. Finally, everyone around us seems to be treated like the staff knows them (they probably do), there seem to be a LOT of returning customers, and they seem to take really good care of the elderly/disabled guests who frequent their location. I've only been there about four times, but I have a lot of respect for this restaurant. My partner and I will definitely frequent this place.

From out of town. They didn’t seem super busy, but we waited for about 5 mins for someone to greet us. Looked a bit disorganized.

I almost want to give this place a bad rating so that people won't go here because it's getting too crowded. This is a gem and I'm tired of sharing it... it stays so busy these days because the food is amazing and the service is quick... the food comes up faster than anywhere else, the servings are huge, and they don't gouge you when it comes to paying the tab..... stop going to my favorite place!!!!!! And definitely don't get the Mediterranean omelette. That is for me only. The delicious feta and lamb goodness is not for you. It is for me.

Awesome. Best burger I've had in St. Louis. This was my first time here. I do plan to go back. The portions are a good size. The person I was with couldn't even eat all of her food. It became obvious they have regulars. Every other person who came through the door was greeted by name. Great place highly recommend.

Says it on the window, but it really is the best breakfast in town!! If you love a "greasy spoon" diner, then look no further! The pancakes are massive and absolutely delicious. Get the Webster skillet and be filled up the rest of the day. Might I recommend brunch style and getting a double cheeseburger and fries. Then have your partner order a breakfast item. It will be packed on the weekend because it's so popular!!

I got the Farm Fresh Eggs. I chose 2 scrambled eggs, 3 sausage links, hash browns, and 2 wheat toast. The eggs were cooked nicely. Their sausage links had to much sodium. What am I saying but it was noticeable to me. The hash browns needed another minute on the grill. Cozy little cafe that’s showing its age. Street parking in front of the cafe and a parking lot 30 yards south of cafe.

The fries were a little over done. The hamburger was excellent and good sized. All portions were huge. The staff are very friendly. Our waitress was really good. One of the best we have had in a long time.
