Definitely the easier to get round of the biomes, and this one does feel smaller than the rainforest.

It’s also much cooler than the rainforest, so much easier to bear in the heat.

Lots of the plants here seem very fragrant, which really builds the experience, particularly if eating in the med terrace.

There’s some good activities in the dome, including for younger visitors, such as stories being told at points across the day.

If you’re able, I’d definitely recommend going round via the cactus garden, and up the small steps back towards the main dome space.

There’s a good portrait / selfie / photo op spot towards the top in the little structure, which seems to have been thought through.

Vibrant and beautiful! It was full of flowers and diverse vegetation. I really loved the theme and its details, very representative of the Mediterranean region. The walk completes within half an hour unless you decide to spend some time in the cafe.

Doesn't quite have the wow-factor of the rainforest biome but is still very interesting.

Lots of fruit growing in this dome. The peppers and tomatoes were really interesting.

Not sure why they've added a cafe in the middle of it. Maybe a fruit and veg stall would have been more apt.

Beautiful Garden with a huge variety of plant species from the Mediterranean, California and Australia. Really enjoyed learning about all the flowers, plants and trees.

Very tranquil and plenty of exotic plants to see. Feels less overwhelming than the tropical dome and there is a small cafeteria inside.

Temperature is far more comfortable than Tropical Biome. There is a restaurant inside, as well as other attractions such as back run, Petting Zoo show (an example show on certain dates). Wide variety of fruits and other plants, as well as sculptures

The smaller of the two domes. Although not as expansive as the Rainforest Biome dome the Mediterranean Biome dome is still fantastic and well worth the visit. It covers a range of Mediterranean plant life but I particularly enjoyed looking at the wide range of food growing plants, the range of tomatoes is incredible!
