Lots of interesting artifacts. Great rainy day trip. Parking was the hardest part of the visit.

Or was small and free, plus they have docents. The upstairs 3d photography exhibit was my favorite part.

Surprisingly good little museum exploring the history of Fairhope, one of the cutest towns on the Gulf Coast. Great artifacts and interpretive materials throughout the well-kept museum space. And, admission is free!

This museum is a well done local archive of information. Well worth a visit and free.
I've never stopped and explored Fairhooe as I did yesterday. I have always wanted to stop & explore the beautiful little historic town that my grandmother was from, but when I came upon the adorable (FREE) museum I had to stop. It featured the first firetruck, jail, and many other wonderful things including the notable people of Fairhope. If you love history & historic this, this is definitely one to stop & admire.

There was a lot of information packed into this little museum. There is no admission and everyone is friendly and helpful. It is wheelchair accessible as well.
