I like this theatre because of their plays and actors. But yesterday, I was really impressed by Imitation (Ivan Franko's detective) on the small scene of Igor Slavinskiy.
It was tricky to find the small scene, but it was worth it. Actors, direction, music, plastic, light everything were unsurpassed.😍🤩

Beautiful theater. The plays are in Ukrainian. There are 2 stages, large and small (small stage is in the next building above the main theater). The theater has its own charm, the spirit of Kiev and the old Podol. I was at the performances:

Modern. Impressive actors. Wonderful performance. Nice and popular aria with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries, old times buildings, historical museums ans summer market outside . Clean and served good inside of theatre. Hope you'll enjoy.
I went with the girl to the premiere of the «1984» by George Orwell. I was in this theater for the first time after reconstruction. This is an amazing place. Small in size, but very thoughtful, modern building, built with respect to the people.
I note only one drawback. The balcony is not comfortable. Very steep angle, very little space. Otherwise 4.5 out of 5 points.

So modern theatre in the Podol . Good acoustics , lighting and super atmosphere
Nice place, plays are contemporary so be ready to see many philosophical once, atmosphere is nice. Picking up your coat or jacket can be quite frustrating as always there’s a big mess with different desorginize cues, part of the ukranian culture.
Small, but comfortable theater, great interior and decorations, convenient location, affordable tickets. The performance "Uncle Vanya" by Chehov was interesting and touched the topics, actual even nowadays. The actors' play was fully dedicative. Recommended to visit.
