Great vegetarian lunch menu for 23 bolivianos

Excellent and affordable vegetarian lunch near Plaza Murillo. Lunch for 23bs comes with salad, soup, option of main, a dessert and a mate. Well served and a decent salad bar. Come before 1:30pm as the food runs out quick

Waiter was rude. No menus, only what the waiter tells you there is in a machine-gun mumble. I speak Spanish but still struggled. After soup, we were given plate of quinoa with a piece of chard. We hadn't ordered a main and told her we'd prefer a burger (she said they would take at least half an hour and we'd have to pay for the quinoa anyway??? Everything cooked in a single small microwave, hence the time it takes to cook anything. Like others, I'd like to like this place, but it's a dump. They don't care about anything.

Very nice and delicious vegetarian food. The price is really cheap for what you get. You can choose between two main dishes, that vary each day. You'll get drink, salat bar, soup, main dish and desert for 23bs. The place is not the most beautiful one, but the food is very tasty. Highly recommended for vegetarians or people who looks for different bolivian food.

A friend and I visited Tomate and were really disappointed. There were four cooks and our service was extremely slow. One of the cooks babies we crying in the kitchen the entire time we were there and the food had no flavor. I told the host that I am vegan and allergic to milk, and care was not taken to make sure the cheese Doritos they gave us for our guacamole was without milk. Given that this place says it caters to vegan and vegetarian needs, this should've been done differently. We were ready to pay and our server left for 40 minutes and we were told to wait for him to get back to get our bill. I wanted to like this place, but it needs some work. They also didn't give us the choice to do the lunch menu, even though it was clearly available.

Great food, great prices (20 Boliviano for a burger with fries). Almost everything is vegan option. 100 % vegetarian!
