Amazing and delicious. Service was excellent, it was a very nice surprise for lunch!

One of my favorite place is La Tecla, enjoying the amazing food, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. To start Yesterday we loved the tostaditas with perejil and queso, the shrimp with tamarindo sauce and fish with flor the calabaza all was delicious, but my favorite is taquitos de pato. We sat outside and was very pleasant weather.

Amazing service and food. We chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful evening. They offered themselves to take us inside after the sunset. Their complimentary bread and fried parsley was amazing. We ordered fig and lettuce salad which was super delicious and that would be an understatement. Ravioli with mango sauce was the perfect combination of sweet and spice. All in all, amazing place in a very good location. We will be back.

Creative, modern, great break from lovely street food for a more relaxed sit down and refinement. Host was patient with the limited Spanish, the mole fettuccine was cool, the fish was juicy!

From the warm welcome by excellent staff to the departure from the restaurant this was a great experience. The help we received due to our lack of language and the advice given regarding our choices was second to none. The food, and the drinks that went with it, was perfect in appearance, taste, delivery and quantity. Modern, but traditional,Mexican food at its best. And, it was great value for money. We would return and recommend that others go and enjoy.

We stopped here for a quick lunch. We enjoyed the ambiance, and the service was very good. We had a tortilla soup. The first time, they had the order wrong, as we requested to pork chicharron on it, but they promptly fixed it. We also ordered the cream of corn, and that was delicious. The three cheese ravioli in mango and Chipotle sauce have the perfect balance of hot and sweet flavors. Lastly, we order the dry video pasta salad with cream and avocado. It was surprisingly flavourful and filling. The lemonades are made with sparkling water. All in all, the place was a great place closed to our hotel for a lunch bite.

Appetizer, delicious entree and mezcal cocktail for $25-30. Presentation is great, taste was a bit bland.
Great service great food. The bread service comes at a charge but that’s normal in some countries. You can ask them to remove it

As a loyal customer for over **20 years**, La Tecla has consistently been one of my favorite spots in the city.
The Good:
The delightful food has always satisfied my taste buds, and the cozy ambiance holds cherished memories.

The Not-So-Good:
- **Service Disappointment**:
- **Timings**: Despite our arrival at 9:30 pm, the waiter promptly informed us of a 10:30 pm closing time, conflicting with Google's 11 pm indication.
- **Rushed Experience and Bad Attitude**: The waiter's hurried demeanor impacted our overall enjoyment. We felt we weren't welcome at the restaurant.
- **Disappearing Act**: Extended absences for long periods. When we received the entree, we had to request tortillas from another waiter while our dish sat untouched.
- **Pressure to Order**: The waiter pushed drink choices without offering water upon arrival. Courteous service matters, as does the ecological impact of water bottle usage.
- **Hot Dish Surprise**: No warning about piping-hot dishes caught us off guard.
- **Dessert Miss**: Sadly, dessert options were never presented.
- **Spicy Salsa Incident**: My foreign guest faced an unexpected fiery surprise due to the unmentioned habanero salsa.

In summary, while La Tecla's food remains outstanding, service fell short during this visit. Poor customer service.
