We recently visited Campania and were quite taken by the lovely location and charming decor. The atmosphere was nice, creating a pleasant setting for our meal. However, the experience was marred by the service we received. This was my second time visiting the restaurant and I cannot say the experience was better the first time, but we thought we would give them a second chance as the food was delicious the first time we visited about a year ago.

The staff seemed rather inattentive, rarely smiling, and somewhat hurried. Within the first 10 minutes of being seated, we were asked for our order three times. When it came to serving the wine, instead of pouring it, they simply left the opened bottle and glasses on the table, which felt a bit impersonal.

As for the food, it was a mixed experience. We had three antipasti, two pastas, and one main dish between the two of us. Unfortunately, everything except the pasta was under seasoned and rather mediocre. The pasta, however, was delightful and definitely the highlight of the meal.

At the end of our meal, we asked for the bill, and were promptly informed that they needed the table back in 10 minutes. While we had finished our wines and were ready to leave, it did make us feel a bit rushed.

It's a shame because the location and atmosphere had so much potential. With some improvements in service and seasoning, this restaurant could truly shine.

Small Italian nook for a cozy pasta dinner for both a date night and with friends.

I'm confused by some reviews about service not being great. I thought the service was quite good for UK standards. Our server helped us through the Italian menu, and gave us her personal favorites.

Each dish made me feel like I was back in Italy. Fresh ingredients prepared perfectly. We loved the fried starters, the pastas, and the tiramisu.

Nipped in late Saturday for a lunch. Found a table and enjoyed it from minute to end. Service was brilliant, jovial staff that walked us through the menu and gave their insight into different dishes and preferences. Slightly on the more expensive side, but acounting for location and popularity, I guess.
Risotto was good but the highlight was the seafood casserole. Delicious. Will be back for more. Decor is also a delight, rustic and a homely feeling.

Lovely small restaurant with a very good lunch offer. Small menu but it changes often. Food was good and service attentive.

We had a lovely meal here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not rushed. The food was absolutely delicious. The first starter was the copa, very good quality. The neopolitan starter was spot on, my husband is from Naples and we are often there. We also had the Straciatella and gnudi , again very good. We followed with cassuola of fish. Very tasty and enough for two. And two scialatieli with clams and mussels, excelent fresh flavours. We finished off with affogato, expresso martini and tarta caprisi. Lovely evening of good food, pleasant athmosphere and lovely staff.

I was excited to try this place, but the experience didn't meet my expectations. The restaurant's ambience is lovely and cozy, perfect for a quiet date. I appreciated the bespoke wooden interiors and artisan tableware.

As it's a small establishment, expect longer-than-usual wait times on Sundays, especially during Flower Market opening hours, as it's located right next to it. We waited 1.5 hours, despite being initially told it would be an hour. I understand factors like these are beyond their control, but it still wasn't pleasant.

The server we had seemed rather unfriendly, possibly overwhelmed with customers. They ran out of ragu after we placed our order, and there was no wifi in the restaurant. It was disappointment after disappointment. We quickly finished our food and left. It's not my favorite experience, and I wouldn't particularly recommend it. I don't think it's worth the wait.

This is such a wonderful romantic date spot. Candlelit late lunch or dinner in the fantastic restaurant with the most delicious Italian food. Yummy past and dreamy pasta dishes. Lovely service and a must visit.

Delicious meal!

The menu changes frequently so you receive a fresh dated and printed menu.

The best meal was the seafood spaghetti but the venison ragu was also worth trying. The steak was cooked medium rare and was so soft and tender to eat. The food came out piping hot! Some of my photos are a little blurry because of the steam from the food. The tiramisu was to die for, the torte was average imo.

Staff were polite and nice but nothing above and beyond.

It was a busy restaurant considering it was a Tuesday but maybe that’s just leading up to Christmas.
