De Negen Vaten

A while ago, we went to eat there and it was great – this week, unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. The cocktails were delicious, but the food was simply bad. The Paella Valenciana had nothing to do with a Spanish Paella – no flavor, bad rice, and dried-out seafood. The calamari in both the paella and the tapas were so tough that they were inedible. The piece of lamb was completely dried out. I am the first to give compliments, but it also needs to be said when things are not good at all. This was reported to the waitress, who said she would inform the kitchen. There was no response. When we asked the waitress again, she said there was no feedback. When paying the full bill (even though we ate less than half), we were told, after asking for feedback again, that the chef and the boss tasted it and said it was as good as always. 288 euros poorer, still hungry and a bad birthday dinner for a sweet 16:-( Things can go wrong in the kitchen, but this was unfortunately the last time for us. Such a shame!

Nice place to go with a group , live unplugged music that creates a Latin atmosphere, food is nice but relatively simple.

I was amused by this restaurant. It had a nice window display with all the glassesa ND neon lighting. But as we entered they had a bar that was calling my name. As I was ordering the waiter was soo nice and kind took my order and got me a limoncello spirits. And if I tell you this was soo refreshing but soo nice with the home made lemoncelo. As we finished our drink to go to our table at the back. We heard Spanish guitar and music vocals offcours this was all live. And I was all the way in Spain again. Hahaha the food was delicious the vibe was great. Definitely coming back again. And thnk me later

We ordered the all you can eat tapas, but you get a few rounds of cold an hot tapas from the house. This was to much, as we couldn't order anything else because we we're so full. Food was ok, service ok as well. The place was very cool and alive. Advice: dont order all you can eat but pick your own tapas mix.

Excellent place for tapas. Service was optimal, we had a work get together here and it was excellent. Tapas was higher level then what you usually get ...

Nice restaurant with super nice live music. The only small issue is that we had to wait for TWO hours for the food. So if you go to this place, bear in mind food will take forever. This was absolutely not pleasant.

Staff was friendly

To loud, because off the live gitares players. 2 locals play at every table multiple times. It's good fore a few songs but to much is to much.
The food was not really good, tapas made just for the money, there was no love or time spent on the dishes.
The price is on the high side. For example, 5 pieces of baguette and a very small cup of aioli for 4,5€. I mean that would normally be a side dish on the house.

Lovely dining venue that offers a warm welcome, beautiful decor, and amazing tapas selection.
I dined in with my Belgian friend who filled me in on its colourful history of being a centre for live music and dance.
