What a clean and beautiful place, the staff is very friendly, the animals are in good condition and the experience is unique, it is worth coming and they have environments for the animals in winter ✨️

Fun family activity! A lot of different animals to see, plenty of activities for kids and great food court. Free parking as well. We go every single year and absolutely love it!

The Zoo is simply amazing!

Different zones for kids to see how animals live in other countries.

Make sure to have a stroller if you have small kid, because who experience might take you 4-5 hours if you want to see every little piece.

Good food court available. Food was greatest but enough to get fed. Bring your own.

Prices are very good compared to other activities for a family of 4.

Also make sure to plan out the weather if you want to have good experience as some animals are hiding if too cold or sleeping if too hot.

Went to this place with family and do recommend as a great family friendly activity, with loads of animals, long walks and activities for kids. Beware of the expensive admission fee though. They have some XL sized Ginger Tabby cats and a ride that takes you through the good portion of the zoo.

So for a first timer , we heard so many great things about Granby Zoo, and ended up dissapointed in it to say the least. First of all for a family of 4 (youngest is 2 years old) 97 CAD is a lot !!! And an extra 13 CAD to rent the stroller which is in the gift shop (a 1o min walk from the entrance ), and believe me if you have young kids you will need a stroller or carrier because it is a huge place (took us 4 hours and we didnt even visit it all) . Also bring finger food and snacks along, if you are visiting soon,coz only one restaurant was open and his options were limited to fast food.
On the good side ,we got to see lots of animals , they have a paper map you can get on the entrance to help you navigate your way, it had a big variety of animals...
But if you have sensitive nose , some places are extra smelly 😷 so be careful

I’ve been to a couple zoos in China and then I went to Granby “zoo”… this was a joke… most areas with the larger animals would have one or max 2 animals that usually didn’t have any energy and were far away. There were only two positive things I could think of. One it was not crowded but there wasn’t much to see anyways. Two the kids enjoyed staying in the water areas more than seeing the animals. I later brought them to a real water park to have more fun. Save your time money and energy from going here and choose another activity.
