Riverside Clubhouse

My wife and I had eaten here in the past and had had good food and service. Celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary, we decided to try weekend brunch at the Clubhouse for the first time. After ordering coffee and mimosas (both fine) I decided the Clubhouse brunch menu/atmosphere wasn't what I was hoping for (based on our previous visits). We decided to order a cinnamon roll to share, (I found the brunch menu rather basic). We were served two rolls baked in a dish with cream cheese icing in the center of the rolls. The outer edges were fine, if maybe a little overcooked. The roll interior was undercooked, raw dough.
The service was good/pleasant.
The atmosphere was lacking; bare dirt patches instead of landscaping at the front entry, ripped bench seating in the waiting area, and a waterwall that splashed water on the table and at our feet (due to water dripping from near the top of the wall into the pool at its base. I don't wish to sound overly critical, It just wasn't the experience we had wished.

We visited Sacramento and found this place. The food was great and the service was better! Matt was our server, and he was awesome! We were in Sacramento for 5 days, and we ended up eating here 3 times because of Matt's great service and the delicious food. Thanks, Matty Ice and Riverside Clubhouse. If we ever end up in Sacramento again, we will definitely be going back to see Matt!

Everything was great, the chef came to say hi and that made my grandson so happy. This definitely was a great b-day dinner.

It was an amazing 1st time. We were celebrating my partner's birthday. Our nephew wanted to speak with the chef to let him know his food was great.

This place has easily become one of my favorites. Consistently friendly staff, clean comfortable atmosphere, and great food.

Nice atmosphere. Came here for lunch/brunch and prices were reasonable. Nice service. Plenty of parking at the time we went. Grilled cheese and tomato soup was great!

Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside looks a little run down and it's hard to tell its a restaurant, but inside is a hidden gem. Great brunch food! Try the chicken club or the tomatoe basil soup.
