This park was an unexpected gem in the city of Southfield

Nice park with a playground. I enjoyed the trails through the woods.

Many of the trails are impassable due to mud and standing water. They're not well designed. Constant freeway noise is disappointing. Park suffers from MDOT clear-cutting the mature woods years ago

Loved this little place that actually turned out to be bigger then I originally thought it was going to be. I went walking with my kids and we all really enjoyed it. We spotted a bunny and a snake. There were cute little bridges. The trails were like a tunnel of trees.

Nice little hiking area but be careful sometimes a group of dudes are there kind of startled me once I walked through there but they just seem to be talking and smoking.

I went on yesterday to this hiking trail and I had a lot of fun it looks very small from Lincoln but once you get in it has like all these different hiking trails and it was really nice. really relaxing and I had my two younger kids ages 6 and 7 and they really enjoyed themselves also.
one of the trails lead to an open area where there's a park and a little a walking area that goes back down to Lincoln a sidewalk.
and so once you get there you can either go back into the woods or are you can just go to the park or just walk down the sidewalk but really it was a really nice and really nice trip for me and my kids
and it was only like 2 minutes away from our home.

The entrance is right off of Lincoln as shown in my first picture. Besides hearing all the cars this is a nice hidden gem for the area. We saw a few deer running around too. There are a few other entrance areas but they seemed really close to houses so use discretion on walking into someone's yard.
