Yatai Ramen Japanese Izakaya

I wanted to gag as soon as I walked in. It smelled horrendous. Think of dirty sewer water. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t just walk out, but my we were hungry and really wanted to try some okonomiyaki, so we hoped the smell would go away.
It didn’t.
We ordered the Katsu curry and the okonomiyaki. Both were, I’d say, mediocre. We were there for my birthday. They give you a free ice cream on your birthday, but I couldn’t even stand it enough more for that.
And pray you don’t have to go to the restroom while you’re there.

I walked in with my partner who has never tried ramen before, they absolutely loved this experience. The service was impeccable. Even though the two staff members were busy, they offered the quickest service with kindness sprinkled in every single interaction.
The food was flavorful and was absolutely something to remember. Give this place a try if you’re in the area.

Overall good filling food. Could be more expensive than the other places. Great atmosphere and service.
Didn't like the soup with Katsu.

Cute look! Staff was incredibly attentive and very nice. Food was delicious, and overall restaurant/bathroom was clean. Would definitely be back!

Cozy place serving delicious ramen and lots of other options for non-ramen people. I got the shoyu and substituted tofu and it was delicious. Very flavorful with the thick wavy noodles. My son had the tonkatsu and he inhaled the bowl. Highly recommend!

Decided to eat here after a snack nearby. It's hard to find a place that serves takoyaki and okonomiyaki. The atmosphere was very good and niche.

We had the garlic edamame, dumplings, egg roll and the fried rice. Everything was great. The one thing I found odd was that I couldn’t substitute steamed rice for white rice, when they’re fried rice on the menu. Server told me to get the bowl with white rice and get a $8 side of fried rice which again, was odd. Overall very good, 5 stars!

what's not to love about a ramen place!! all servers were very friendly. it has a really cute, intimate atmosphere due to the size of the interior. the potatoe croquet was reallyyyy good! I got the spicy miso ramen and was so full upon finishing my dish. I would definitely return here again if / when in the area.
