Good is good, but I don’t know why we have no choice to put a customize tip. The waitress come with a pos machine. And she just picked the 25 % tip for lunch. And there is even add on tips on the option…. It is not reasonable.

I really enjoyed the food, but the presence of numerous flies was distracting. Otherwise, I would have given it five stars. Despite the excellent food and friendly wait staff, the brunch experience could be improved. The restaurant should Invest in a fly zapper to run overnight to make the brunch experience perfect.

The food was excellent, and we shared that opinion with our server. We never saw our server from the time she took or order until it was time to pay, though, which was a disappointment, since she should have checked in with us a few minutes after our meals were delivered (by someone else).

Another frustration was that the mojito was listed in the menu for $11, with $12 being the cost of a flavored one. When the check arrived, we pointed out that we were charged $11 for the unflavored one. Our server confirmed it, but said she could not change it on the computer, and that her manager wasn't there at that time, so we ended up paying an extra dollar. Finally, there's an automatic 18% gratuity added to the check, even for a table of 3, which, in my case, usually hurts the server's chances of earning more, since I usually go to about 20%.

Food was just blah/mediocre. Nothing stood out. Won't be repeating. If want true Latin flare, I will probably just go to a traditional/authentic cuisine nearby, plethora to choose from anyways. Thought would give this a shot. Near waterfront is a pro. Service absolutely horrible and really ruined the experience. Server did not see us for 15 min after we sat down. Food took another 20 min. Forgot our fourth dish to point we said just cancel it. Asked for check which took another 15 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. The service was also similar to the two adjacent tables surrounding us. They really need to work on that - It's 6:30 on a Wednesday. Cmon. Choose one of other restaurants nearby. Happy to discuss with management/staff if they reply here.

**Giving this 3 stars, might change if I ever come back. **

I have came here with my sister and mother to celebrate my graduation. We had a reservation at 6:45pm and they seated us right away even though arrived a couple minutes early. 10-15 minutes pass and a couple walks in and they get seated next to us. 5 minutes later the waitress attends them even though we sat before the couple. And it was like that the whole night. She never came and checked if we needed any or, to ask if the food was done to our liking. She attended all other tables and ignored us. The food was 1000%% delicious. It’s just a shame that the waitress sucked. If it weren’t for the tip being included I would’ve left $5.

Food: 10/10
Ambiance: 8.5/10
Waitress: 2/10

Great service, great food, great portions, and good prices.

Ordered the Arroz Con Pollo and it was highly flavorful. Others at my table ordered Pernil and a steak sandwich, both of which were apparently delicious. The place was lively with music and lots of customers.

Worth visiting if in the area. 10/10

This is a great casual Latin-fusion cuisine eatery situated on bustling Vernon Blvd in Hunters Point. Reservations aren’t required and walk-ins are welcome. Came in at 8pm on a Saturday night and only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Casual atmosphere with seating inside and outside in a covered area on the street.
The food was reasonably priced and the food was pretty good. I had the tilapia, a side of chips and guac, and a Patronjito cocktail (very boozy). For dessert, we ordered the chocolate cake, which was a bit underwhelming to be honest.
The service was a bit on the slow side because there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant (for both inside and outside seating) on a Saturday night and she was stretched pretty thin. She had a great attitude and was very nice though. She even both single-handedly presented a birthday cake and sang a Happy Birthday song (in a bright-eyed, very chipper way) for the table next to us. All I know is: Whatever they’re paying her, it’s not enough.
Overall, I enjoyed eating here and will definitely be coming back for more casual nights out in the neighborhood. I just hope that they hire another person to help out with serving on busy weekends.
