Ghost Donkey – Denver

Very hard to find! Luckily a kind woman who spotted my lost eyes stopped and asked if I needed directions lol. But once we found it the vibe and area was very cute . The smell of the incense was a little much for me as I am prone to migraines so I didn’t stay long . My husband and I both only ordered 1 drink. Weren’t impressed with them . I do have to say the wait staff are very friendly . Maybe it was just an odd day with the cocktails , but my husband couldn’t even finish his. Too much mix it tasted like .

FAVORITE PLACE EVER ! I went 4 times there. Bartenders are cute, the atmosphere was amazing and the people are very nice and with good standing. Location are hidden so the people who walks didn’t about this amazing bar only whos look around google.

We were asked to move to free up some space for an adjacent table that had been booked for a party, and even though it was no trouble for us, we were still given a shot of tequila each as a thank you! Really nice venue with an incredible tequila selection. Some of the crowd was a little bit OTT so it may not be 100% your thing if you're looking for a one-on-one evening with a friend, a date or post-dinner venue etc, but for an evening of drinks or something post-concert this is perfect! A very lively vibe with cool decor and friendly staff. Really enjoyed our time here!

The decor is beautiful, but the service staff really makes this a great experience. Selene at the bar gave fantastic recommendations and everyone was friendly and helpful even though we came just before closing. We'll definitely be back! A little tricky to find, as a heads up.

I booked a table at Ghost Donkey last night, and the experience left much to be desired.

Pros: our sever was lovely, the drinks were great, and I loved the atmosphere. The volume of the room never got too loud and I could easily talk with my friend for almost 2 hours.

Cons: the chips were pretty gross and the salsa texture was questionable. Also, and I hate to say this because I know it's not a fun or glamorous job: the door guy could not have cared less about his job. He was mostly absent, as people were walking in confused and waiters were having to help them figure out their table situation. He also barely acknowledged my presence when I showed up, and did the same to my friend when he arrived. This was my first impression of the restaurant, and it wasn't a good one.

I'll definitely go back as I live in the neighborhood, but hope to have a more friendly arrival experience in the future.

This place is an absolute VIBE!

We stumbled across this hidden gem while exiting our parking garage and boy am I glad we found it! The bar tenders were absolute dolls and were knowledgeable about which tequilas and mezcals were the best. We had one drink and then asked for a sipping tequila / mezcal. We didn't get any food, but the drinks were top notch!

The atmosphere blows this place out of the water, twinkle lights fill the ceiling space, there's cute lit up flowers on the walls, and the overall lighting is dim. They have a stellar playlist playing throughout the bar, it is impossible not to move your body or tap your feet to the beat of every song.

We will absolutely be back, and I 10 out of 10 recommend this place!!

First time coming here and it did not disappoint! Very cool atmosphere and excellent cocktails. They are a little pricey, but I think they’re worth it. We didn’t end up eating dinner here but I wish we would have! The food I saw being brought out looked delicious. Next time I’m in Denver I will be coming back.

Absolutely love this place! Perfect for drinks or for a cool date. Intimate, cool atmosphere, chill and great craft cocktails. Surprised at the excellent service, given that there is only two bar tenders and never felt rushed, they were super welcoming and attentive. Great mezcal selection and excellent Ceviche. Great happy hour prices from 4 to 6 as well!! Will be back for sure.
