If you're Iranian, you likely know the name Shandiz well, and if you're a foreigner visiting Tehran, missing out on this restaurant would be a mistake. I highly recommend two standout dishes: 1) Shishlik (lamb chops) and 2) Mahiche (Muscle). For an extra treat, ask for some extra muscle broth with caramelized onions to drizzle over your rice and savor with the Mahiche. In my opinion, this is the epitome of quality dining in Tehran. I make it a point to visit at least 2 to 3 times every trip to Iran.
I ordered on Thursday night and I was very impressed by their food and service. The food quality was great, the portion was enough and also reasonable price. The delivery took about an hour , which is understandable given the busy time, but the food temperature was still okay. The reception was polite and very helpful when i called to confirm my order. I would defiantly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Persian cuisine.
The meals are perfect, and the atmosphere is suitable for work meetings and family gatherings.
Absolutely the best shishlik(grilled lamb chops) in Tehran. The place is like a palace and the food is fabulous.
I ordered Joje, Shishlik, Lamb neck and kobide and they were all juicy and tender.

I have been here multiple times. They have other branches but I have been to Jordan Ave location only. There is no parking, you have to street park. It s a large indoor space, very simple decor, sit-eat-leave type of place. Medium to high noise level. Tables are close so be careful they can hear you, you neighbor may just stop eating to listen to ur life life story😁
Service is fast and efficient. If you look for a fancy, cozy and quiet place for you and your date this is not that.
We ordered shishlik that is a barbecued lamb chop that was great as always. It’s good size probably 5 or 6 pieces served on skewer. Saffron rice and butter was great.
We shared one shishlik and if both of your are not big eaters it’s quite enough.

Shandiz is well known for their shishlick , but I always prefer to have mahiche which I believe that is the best food and I don’t know any mahicheh better than shandiz all over Tehran.
You could have shishlicks even better than shandiz in other places but innthe case oc mahicheh no.
