Istanbul Airport is so big and has a nice separate area to sleep, with large sleeping chairs. It also features many big brands like Chanel, Dior, Levi's, and more. There are lots of good cafes and restaurants, though I personally don't like their food as they don't use spices, and I prefer spicier food. However, their ice cream and tea are really good.
The NEW Istanbul Airport is very big and busy, the service of WIFE is so good but limited.
Plenty of modern restaurants and Shops to spend time and money, over prices then normal restaurants in Istanbul.
Overall Good experience to spend there some hours for my connected Flight.

Istanbul’s new airport is so nice. I spent many hours walking about and seeing all the pretty shops. There was just so much to see. There was water fountains to fill drinks, good bathrooms and plenty of seating. Food etc is very expensive and euro is commonly used. Their target market must be people with money.
One of the biggest and nicest airport I have ever seen. Very nice and organised everything but the main problem is language barrier. I just shocked that how the restaurant staff and airport staff couldn’t talk in English in an international airport. They don’t even know what is water. Totally got surprised. My rate would be 5 star ⭐️ but for that it is 4 star.

In general, I have very fond memories of this airport. It's clean and very pretty. I've read somewhere that it was ranked the best in the Top 10 World's Airports, or something like that.
Knowing basic Turkish phrases will help a lot, especially at the bottom floor where they sell you bus tickets, as almost nobody speaks English there.
Also, don't buy any food from here. Like, common: 150 TRY for just one sandwich?

I’ve been to the Singapore airport. So I cannot give Istanbul 5 stars. But it’s nice. Well run for the most part. Always changing and learning. Hint: to to the Turkish airlines ticket services over by aisle 3. It’s the most powerful ticket office in all Turkey for getting your tickets taken care of.
