Very interesting and educational. Was able to tour the entire display facility with little to no effort. My host loved the clothing displays and I found the older carriages of interest. The facility was clean and neat inside and out. Interactions with the staff was swift, courteous, and informative.
Went here at the end of our walk of the palace gardens. Amazing style and suspension technology in the different carriages!
Intresting musem of Habsburg family carriages. It is worth to see because it shows how different their lives were from the common people. There are carriages for weddings, funerals, just for one person to go around the courtyard, carriages for children.
The location is 290m to the right of the entrance gate of the Palace.

There is an entrance ticket but if you are using Vienna Pass Card - it is for free.
By the way, eating or drinking is prohibited in this museum.

An extra ticket to the palace itself, but a really interesting museum. Beautiful carriages and a stunning dress reconstruction!
A small museum worth a visit. It takes about 30-40 minutes to visit. You can read useful information on every item on display. Several years ago, when we visited the museum for the first time, the theme was Funeral Carriages. Now the center liece is Empress Elizabeth's secret dress. Enjoy the visit!
One of our favorites. Beautifully preserved carriages. You get transported to a different world. No wait time. Highly recommend to include this during the visit.
