Lovely waterfall to visit, my favorite of the 3 along the trail that are past the main attraction of course (the Basin). It’s worth the roughly 2 mile round trip hike to visit on its own, or taking this route if you’re looking to get to Kinsman or Lonesome Lake. I’d consider this a light to moderate hike as a seasoned WMNF hiker. When I ventured out last week, conditions were manageable without spikes, but I could see that changing quickly depending on recent weather. I look forward to coming back here after the snow melts as well 😊
Treacherous trail up to the Kinsman with the recent local rainfall, lots of washout, precarious at certain locations. The river was too high to get a shot of the falls. Make sure if you go you watch for trail marking, very few and far between, and the posting of distance of the falls is wrong. Be prepared to walk much further than 0.5 miles
One of my favorite spots in the state! It's always a clean trail with plenty of spots for a beautiful photo of the mountains. It's a short hike to Kinsman Falls from The Basin, only about half a mile, & absolutely worth it!
Great walk from the Basin to Kinsman falls, it's absolutely beautiful here!! My daughter and I got in the water on a hot day but boy the water was cold!
Beautiful trails. If you are passing by, this place is a must. Follow the basin trail for the best views
Very pretty falls, and decently accessible. A mile of easy walking uphill. This place is a lot less crowded than the basin, owing to being a little further of the beaten track.

Love it so much. If it wasn’t winter, we would have 100000% swam in the waters. The hike was short and the falls were stunning. There is even a handicapped path which great too!
