Wonderful building, friendly staff. The movie selection is great. You can discuss the movie you have seen at the café, they accept UGC and Pathé subscriptions.

Although I've been before, I loved the special showing of Breakfast at Tiffany's. A full house, very well done by the team at the cinema! Can't wait to go back!

Sehr schönes kleines Kino mit guter Soundanlage und freundlichen Personal aber leider nicht so bequeme Sitze und mangelhafter Snackauswahl.

Great experience to watch film in this cinema. It has great retro ambiance. The price is good but the staff are not so friendly

Nothing like an old fashioned theater (expensively refurbished to its former glory) to make you feel that at last you are at the movies again.
Leg room is sparce but the programme is unabashedly French reverence for cinéma.
And there is a balcony, and a terrace bar in the evening (not tested).
Staff is kind and attentive, the brasserie across the boulevard is a good option for fois before or after.
Enjoy!

Built in 1921, the Louxor cinema boasts distinctive neo-Ancient Egyptian architecture. A listed historical building, it closed in 1988. After having been threatened with demolition, it was renovated and reopened to the public on 17 April 2013. Situated in the 18th arrondissement, in the La Chapelle district, the Louxor screens recent films as well as great cinema classics.

It seems not possible to get inside without tickets. However, outside the building is gorgeous
