Gilaneh Restaurant

one of the rare restaurant that you can find Gilan food in Tehran
But don't expect too much of it
Overall it's nice dine-in with small garden and the spirit of Gilan

A lovely place to eat and spend time,The outdoor area was lovely not perfect. I personally do not like the plastic tables and chairs for restaurants but it was ooook. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Every item in the menu had to be added with a plte of rice, for example the stew in the menu came without rice!! Which was odd for me in an Iranian restaurant! And you had to pay an extra fee( 1,000,000Rls) for rice!! And it wasn’t pleasant for me at all.
The quality and taste of meals was ok not WOW.(5/10).
I don’t think I would like to eat here again.

It's a nice restaurant with Gilaki cuisine from south of Caspian Sea taste.
You could experience the amazing food of north region if Iran.
Special stew such as Baqala Qatoq, Fessenjan, sour Kebab of veal and lamb and tasty side dishes.
I recommend this restaurant!

You can definitely find better Gilaki food in Tehran but Gilaneh is not bad. Baghela ghatogh was surprisingly better than kabab torsh.

I have never been to Gilan, but Gilaneh is the restaurant that made me fall in love with the awesome cuisine of Gilan. The outstanding garnishes, tasty meals, and colorful dishes being offered there are worth mentioning. If you want to enjoy both eating and looking at the food, Gilaneh is the best choice.

The foods are high quality, all foods and appetizers are in big size, this is outdoor restaurant and warm in summer eventhough fan is availble, the price is average half million toman for each person, some waiters are not in good appearance and not using mask, overall it is recommended

Delicious Gilan dishes and a beautiful restaurant, we sat outside and tried a variety of their starters together with different types of olives and yogurts. They were super delicious and I tried baghale ghatogh for my main and asked to have the egg really well done as I cannot eat runny eggs so in the photos uploaded I specifically asked for this as I know many will think they’ve over cooked it.
Lovely restaurant, definitely recommend!
