We came here for lunch on a Saturday before the lunch rush, so the place was empty (perk for us because we had the kids with us). Thinking service would be great and we’d get a good lunch and then go home. The waiter forgot our drink, and we waited around 40 minutes for our food to come out. When it did, my salad was missing ingredients and the waiter had their thumb in the food. We were not checked on, drinks were not refilled. We usually are really laid back about our dining experiences, but this was not worth it for us. $75 for what we got and the service we experienced, save yourself and find somewhere else to go. The floor was sticky, the plates were dirty, kids’ high chairs sat next to the open men’s toilet. Definitely better places on the ave than this one!

The salads were HUGE and delicious. One salad definitely serves two people. The bread sticks with seasoned oil was exceptional and a very nice start to the meal. We sat out front and enjoyed all the people-watching as they cruised the strip. This place had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was quick, pricing was fair and food was delicious! We also ordered a cheese pizza with fresh basil for the table which was perfectly cooked. The other Italian entrées that we ordered were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I would highly recommend that you give this place a try not just for the delicious food, but for the cold drinks, friendly staff and fun atmosphere!

I always get the chicken parm sub which is really good, but decided to try something different and so glad I did! The best baked ziti we’ve ever had.. I highly recommend!

One of the best salads I have had. The portions are huge, the food is so flavorful and rich. We got the pecan salad and Chicken scallopini and 2 meat balls.

After having some really bad Italian in some popular places, this hole in the wall is the best Italian in Delray and might I say - in north of South Florida.

We had been here many times before but had a terrible experience this weekend. It started when we tried to order gluten free pasta cooked in fresh water to accommodate an allergy. The waitress brought someone else over (the manager?) who said they were unable to do that and nobody had ever asked before. Meanwhile, we had eaten there before and they supposedly did it for us that time. After being told there are almost no gluten free options, my daughter settles on grilled chicken and broccoli - fine. We also ordered a sandwich and pizza (not gluten free). There was a hair on my sandwich. When we tell the waitress, I say “I’ll just eat the pizza”. She takes my sandwich away and that’s it. Never saw anyone again. Nobody came over to apologize. Nothing! Never going back.

Sazio is now my favorite of the 3 restaurants I ate at thos week. I had the Honey & Lime glazed salmon. Wow...spectacular! Crispy outside, still moist inside and very flavorful. The salmon was perched on top of fresh greens garnished with candied pecans, mandarin orange segments, feta cheese and a light dressing. The menu was full of great options and had a tough time choosing. Thank you Ashley...you nailed it tonight.

So delicious. We had the Stromboli and fresh tomato & mozzarella. Luis, our server, was the best! We'll be back to sit outside when it's cooler.
