Dirty and smelly

It was dirty. No toilet paper on each of the stools. The lock on one of the stools was broken. This is probably the only one public restroom in the whole Chinatown area. So I hope it will be maintained well.

Visited the Men's Room side in April 2022 on a Saturday afternoon. I mention that because I would have expected a terribly unclean experience based on other reviews.

However, it was pretty clean (as public bathrooms in a large city go) and I was able to do what I needed to do without a problem.

It is really small (why I gave 4*) so I would expect you may have to wait periodically. But if you are sight-seeing and need a place to stop on your way in or out of Chinatown, it seemed fine to me.

This public restroom is everything that you would expect and want in a New York City Chinatown public restroom. First of all, it is super creepily set down into the main building in the park, people gambling upstairs, people walking by, doors swung open (and you don’t want to touch anything), 40 years of urine smell, toilets that seemingly haven’t been cleaned in nine and a half years. If the smell wasn’t enough to light up your senses, how about the pool of urine your shoes have to swim through the finally relieve that gallon of boba tea you just drank? Don’t eat that Thai food and start wandering through Chinatown and think you’re going to use some Park Avenue posh toilet. No, sir! You will not want to sit on any of these thrones to relief anything including stress. This public restroom is highly recommended for the New York experience and for the occasional release of urination.

Umm it was a public bathroom that wasn't a port-a-potty. I'll take it and it definitely served it's purpose. I will say the whole thing smelled strongly of urine but hey it's a public bathroom in the middle of NYC. 🤷‍♀️

Do not use this bathroom! Urine completely covered the floor from the entrance and all throughout, and now all over the bottom of my shoes. You could smell it from outside, also outside was a diarrhea puddle right before the door. With a matching pile of poop right outside the women's room.

Absolutely disgusting. No working flusher in the handicap stall. Smell of urine from the walk outside. No soap in dispenser. Overall just gross—glad my daughter is small enough to be changed in her stroller.
