Went here looking at the reviews for dinner. If you're not a hotel guest, they had a very small menu with limited options. While the service and atmosphere were impeccable, the food was below par. It seemed like the base was the same for all the items we ordered, and they were just sour and spicy.

Very good restaurant, super friendly staff, tasty food and great ambiance overall. We didn't want to take the buffet option for instance and they agreed and let us take the ala carte option, something that other restaurants don't allow when you're staying in the hotels. On the day we checked in it was late and their kitchen was closed, despite that they opened it again and cooked for us and served. The best we witnessed overall in Guruvayur.
