Found this gem across the hotel we stayed at, excellent food and ambiance. Loved the creative combination of truffle, with lobster and nice cut of filet mignon. Tiramisu was great, next time I'll try the pistachio tiramisu to mix it up.

From the warm smile of Antonio as you enter to the amazing service of Luis and team…follow up with delicious cocktails, a long wine list and the best fried calamari and bruschetta to amazing homemade pasta and sauces!!! What a dining experience!!

The food here is amazing. It’s a bit small, and we were lucky to get a table without booking, but would 100% recommend the Ravioli di Formaggio “Il Punto” - the sauce was unreal!

Translated from Italian meaning the point, Il Punto is a gem located little off the beaten path on 9th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen has brought together patrons from all walks of life to share in the joy of authentic Italian cuisine where we came tonight for dinner as first timers. Reservation was easily made via Yelp and highly recommended. Some patrons with large groups were turned away. Upon entering this small but cozy packed establishment, we were greeted by the manager, Antonio and was promptly seated at our table for 4 with the tiled floors, wood work and festive Christmas decorations making one feel you’re in mood for the holidays. The well labeled menu featured many different options of Sicilian cuisine (house-made fresh pastas, grilled and roasted seafood, poultry and veal) with special dishes of the day. For starters, we opted to share the Caprese (Buffalo mozzarella cheese from Salerno, Italy.) As our main meal, we decided on Pappardelle alla Bolognese, Pollo alla Parmigiana and Calamari Fritti. To celebrate our dear Floridian guests, we toasted with an espresso martini, glass Prosecco and sparking waters their visit. Complimentary bread and bread sticks started our meal. Every dish is quite simply amazing and has that fresh home made from scratch authentic Italian food taste enough to make one full and content. Unfortunately we didn’t have any room for desserts. The staff were so attentive and friendly including our server Luis, and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. We had an exceptional evening and will be back as we can recommend this place.

I actually enjoyed this authentic Italian cuisine.

The menu features house-made fresh pastas, grilled and roasted seafood, poultry and veal. Excellent food, artfully presented in a pleasurable atmosphere.

In addition, enjoy choosing from an extensive list of fine wines. Simple, yet classic, interior gives the perfect setting, for business or pleasure.

Great location, just 4 short blocks to the Javits Center, 2 blocks to Port Authority, also close to Madison Square Garden, Penn Station and the Theatre District.
Your escape to Italy is right here in Midtown
Manhattan!
