A lovely local shop! Always a go-to for cards and gifts.
Vibes were immaculate. Staff were so lovely. Had the coolest stuff. Also the playlist was FIRE. 11/10 will be going back/ordering from their online shop
I am so happy that the Gifted Type pulled through the difficulties of COVID-19 because this shop is integral on Elgin. Always a selection of fun, interesting and unique products. It's easy to find gift for anyone and there is always new products to look at!

the stuff here is a little more expensive than going to the Mall or whatever but i hate the Mall and this place is so cute. i love a little novelty store. they have a lot of thoughtful items that you can give to your friends :)
Great selection of unique cards for special events, and lots of interesting and novel gifts for adults and kids alike. A decent selection of stationary related items as well. Staff is very friendly. Definitely worth a stop in.
This store is very cute and exactly what you'd expect from a shop for gifts. It was a nicely curated collection without being cluttered or overdone. It was accessible enough with a stroller. The staff I met was super friendly and helpful, that leaves me feeling happy to go back!
