Gnocchi, indulgently creamy with truffle, was possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. Bruschetta with sweet ripe tomatoes was bursting with flavour.

We started queuing at 19:15 (the restaurant opens at 19:30) and were offered a table inside, the outdoor covers were already taken.

We got in line at 7:15 pm, 15 min before opening. Thankfully, we got seated immediately and didn’t have to wait. I wouldn’t suggest waiting for this place for more than 20 minutes, and I’d stay away from the Florentine steak.

The truffle gnocchi was really good but it tasted like baked American mac and cheese. It also came out so fresh that it was extremely hot. You have to let it cool for 2-3 minutes before it’s even worth touching (I recommend mixing it). The truffle was a little strong but the gnocchi is pretty heavy. Just get the small portion of the gnocchi, and even that might be too much.

The lasagna was pretty good too, slightly better than the average I’ve had here, but didn’t wow me. I would order it again.

Last but not least, the Florentine steak was just awful. So little flavor, and even less tender. It wasn’t even a real Florentine steak, there was no bone in the middle (there was no real “T”). At least it was cheap, only 50 euros. I guess you get what you pay for.

MAKE A RESERVATION! We got lucky and made one otherwise the wait looked really long. I emailed them a month or so before and we were able to get in without waiting. The truffle gnocchi was the reason we came and it was delicious! Prices were also very reasonable. Definitely recommend coming here!

This was a fantastic side tour. It has been raining a lot and so what better than to cook. We made two types of pasta Ravioli / Tagliioti and Tiramisu Dessert. The teachers were very nice and positive, a Brit and French teacher. You eat what you make. Good side tour for kids. They serve wine and water and at the meal you can get a soda if you don’t drink. I enjoyed it and I know you will.

5 of us had a delicious dinner here last night. We share a good bottle of red wine, and a variety of dishes. My husband is gluten free and lactose free and there were many items for him to choose from. The staff were great, spoke English, and our food came quickly. We had a large salad that was really good as well.

I think the place is first come first serve so come early. Maybe try to call to see if they take reservations. I came an hour after it opened and had to wait around an hour. Very crowded. Few seats inside and they have outdoor seats. The steak is delicious but I wish the seasoning is more flavorful, the gnocchi is amazing and the tiramisu is so good! Everything is reasonable price. The service was nice and friendly.
