Buca San Giovanni Frigest

We came across Buca on our first day, and went back there everyday at some point during our stay. The location is perfect with incredible views of the Duomo. We had fabulous food and delicious wines, but the main draw was Mirela our waitress. She worked really hard, but was always smiling. She was attentive and professional and gave great recommendations for food and wine. We would highly recommend this place.

I have been to many different countries and restaurants. I have never been disrespected worse then this place. I asked for a table for two and I was given a table. I told them me an my partner are here only for drinks and desert. The server angrily told me this is a restaurant not a bar. He was very aggressive and also was rude to his fellow servers. It was very uncomfortable. We left instantly after we drank our first drinks. If you are the owner of this establishment, please reply with your email.

Food was great and the atmosphere was so cool. We sat right next to a photo of JFK at the restaurant back in the day!

The pizza was the best we’d had so far as a family in Italy. I also believe the eggplant antipasti is a MUST!
The view of the cathedral also made it all the better.

What a fantastic place right near the Duomo. Went there the first night we arrived and was greeted by the friendly staff. Food was delicious and service even better. Went there every night then at least for a drink at the end of the night for the next few days. The staff not only remembered us but also our drinks order. All of them were lovely - the Italian men, the Sri Lankan and the Romanian girl.

Nice restaurant in Florence just next to Catherdral of Santa Maria .it's a historical one ,established in 1882!
We had wonderful pasta paccheri in duck sauce , spaghetti and wine for dinner.
It was indeed a memorable one.

I had a lovely lunch at this place!! The restaurant is perfectly nestled near the Church and its such a view to dine there!! The food is amazing. Definitely try there if you're in florence!
