A hidden gem, in that I hadn't been here. I wish it was more hidden now. The atmosphere in here in inimitable. I'm not usually a devoted fan of sitting at the bar, but my handful of experiences here have swayed me on that. Time and a place.
They have a great selection of interesting cocktails, and Javier was greeting us like old friends by our third visit. A true gent. Will be back, and back, and back.

Stopped in on my last night in the city at the recommendation of the bartender at Maxine's and it did not disappoint! Our bartender was super lovely and gave us a great recommendation for our next stop and made some amazing cocktails. It was tough to choose between the house drinks, but the drinks we both had were incredible. My partner got a non-alcoholic drink and it was made with the same level of craft and care as mine. We were full from diner, but the smell of the food had us STRONGLY considering ordering something because it smelled SO GOOD.

This bar had a great atmosphere and amazing food & drinks! The space is a little bit cramped and the price is a bit high, but it thought that it was worth it given the overall experience.

My personal favourite was the Great Wave with smooth and citrus forward notes. The Kiss was also quite tasty with more flavour of the spirits.

In terms of food, we got the butchers board with selection of tasty meats and cheese that went along with the cocktails and the bone marrow crème brûlée which was good, but didn’t wow us like the other dishes and drinks.

Overall, we had a great time at the bar and I highly recommend others who enjoy delicious cocktails and bites of finger food.

This is a great bar that gets busy and fills up quickly, so a reservation would be a good idea. The drinks are creative and tasty. The ambiance and interior are nice. Their jerky is good with a Korean galbi flavor, too. I haven't tried any of the food, but it all looked great. This is a great place to hang out with a small group of friends or your loved one. I recommend trying their unique cocktails and bar food.

the drinks we had were excellent, especially “the kiss”. the warm lighting in the bar creates for an intimate setting. i also loved the decor. truly a wonderful spot. thank you to amin for his 11/10 service. i will be back!

As Bartholomew Cocktail Bar in Yaletown is like stumbling upon a hidden gem in the bustling city. My impromptu visit turned into a delightful evening as we found ourselves drawn in by the welcoming atmosphere and the promise of expertly crafted drinks.

The Barts board, a chef's selection of cheeses tailored to our tastes, was a pleasant surprise. Even though we skipped the meats this time, the cheeses alone were enough to transport our taste buds to new heights. The attention to detail and the evident passion for quality ingredients shone through with each bite.

While the prices may lean towards the higher end, the experience is well worth it. There's something special about savoring a meticulously crafted cocktail in such charming surroundings. The cozy ambiance coupled with attentive service made our time here truly memorable.

Bartholomew Cocktail Bar is more than just a place for drinks; it's an experience to be savored and cherished compared to a lot of the cocktail bars in the city.

What a great little spot. The cocktails are spot on and the service is pretty impeccable. We were lucky to be able to grab a couple of seats at the bar on a Thursday night but we were glad where we sat so we could watch them make all of the cocktails right in front of us. We didn't try any of the food but it all looked very fresh and even some of it prepared right at the bar.
I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a date night spot.

There was an hour wait at 11 PM on Saturday night, so we reached the next day at 5 PM.
It was easy to find a seat, but they also have Happy Hour till 6 PM every day.

My group liked their drink similar to Moscow mule the most, followed by the one with cucumber flavor.
Their rye whiskey cocktail was also great, esp the presentation with smoke inside a box.
