Sullivan Square

This man shouldn't be working, I entered the subway and saw that there was a fence, I asked if it wasn't working, he replied that it was obviously not, then another girl came to ask something and he shrugged and left, so I came to the entrance and I saw that they were putting up a sign with Shutter bus and I asked him, will there be a shutter bus then? How do I get the Malden one? He laughed and said, this is the one that just came out. My God, I've never seen anyone have the courage to wear a jacket with the question Can I help? and being so ignorant towards the public, it's obvious that he doesn't have the slightest desire and hates his own job because it's not even 11 in the morning and this unfortunate man already treats others like shi#. Shame on you. I ended up being helped by an unknown passenger who came up to me and said: "He's wrong, there's no shutter bus to Malden, only to NothStation, you'll have to take the normal bus, come here and I'll show you where." Very thankful for this man 🙏🏻

Nasty, have so many pigeons droppings all over the station. The mbta really don't care

Very busy area but it is convenient because they have public transportation to get to Boston, instead of driving in or spending more money for a cab or Uber.

I just wanna give a shout out to Joe, the staffperson in the red shirt, who was extremely patient with our family and helped us figure out how to use the system to get to Fenway Park and back. We would have messed it all up for sure if he wasn't there. Friendly and so helpful. THANKS JOE!

There's a small City or small-town vibe in this area, away from the train and bus station going up Main Street in Charlestown is definitely a small town closeness feel and the people are very friendly and the 99 restaurant is awesome plus they have the Charleston naval shipyard which has the oldest battleship I believe ever made the Constitution! Which was a paying for the British Navy to sink because it was called Old Ironsides! I took a tour on that ship and it is extremely heavy! And the ones operating it during those years way back in the day must have been sailors under six ft tall because going up or down the steps into another area you would have had to of ducked your head, because if you didn't you were going to get a massive headache or possibly knocked out or a concussion! Because your head would have hit metal! This ship was never sunk ever! And sunk quite a few enemy vessels! The enemy had no answer for Old Ironsides! 🙏

They have the most ignorant bus drivers, not only did a driver crash and not let me off a bus to go get my daughter she has refused to let me and my daughter on in cold weather just because she wants some kind of apology. I will never be returning to this station. Strictly Wellington & assembly. These peopl made me & my daughter cry and wait in pouring rain.

Average service for train service but the bus service is quite unreliable. Now granted they are in a tough traffic area but busses quite often miss their assigned scheduled departures. Many of them are late too and sometimes are rude.

The station is very dirty, smells, and has bird poop everywhere. Urban decay is present from the graffiti. Urine smells are present in the elevators. The place has a restroom that never has any soap for handwashing and for the first time in many years they finally put paper towels in the restroom.

The escalators quite often are off and do not work. Structurally the age of the station is quite visible because it appears to be crumbling and rusting rapidly now. They installed a bus departures board that constantly shows operating system error codes or a blank screen quite often and it rarely works. The T does provide a vital and important role for commuters to get to their destinations slightly north of Boston, but Sullivan Station is just a very dirty and smelly place. The T's Dudley Station in Roxbury is surprisingly much cleaner, organized and reliable in a service comparison. I was generous in my rating for the Sullivan Sq T location.
