Dosa Twist

This is the best restaurant in Kitchener. All of their food is amazing in taste and quality. Biryani is awesome. Most importantly their customer service is the best. The lady at the pay area is very kind and hard working. She is the best. They also have a water dispenser unlike other restaurants who charge for just water. Very nice ambience.Will keep going there for our south indian food cravings.

One of my favourite restaurants for fulfilling my cravings for South Indian food. Try Masala Ghee roast for perfect balance between taste and quantity.

Delicious food with authentic south Indian flavour. The service was immaculate, kind and customer friendly service make the food more delicious. A better place better service and remarkable experience.

Recently dined at this place and unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The prices seemed a bit high for the quality of the food served and the taste was disappointing. The service was decent though. They use recycled plates, which I didn't find appealing.

Ordered idli , vada idli combo , masala dosa .
Except vada which was little undercooked from inside food was spot on ! Chutneys are flavorful . Service is quick .
Really nees to work on cleanliness (specially washrooms ). Overall dining area was ok but needs cleaning there as well .

Homely experience at this authentic dosa place with a variety of doses avaliable on the menu. Personal touch by Chef Yunus by offering to remake the dosa to match your taste buds was truely special.

Plenty of dosa options, taste is upto the mark.
Good customer service. I feel Chutneys can be better. Will definitely go back again.

Edit: Reducing it to 1-star. Gave this place a second chance and ordered delivery and the food was even worse than what I tasted in the opening week. Dosa filling is inedible and the way they packed Dosa left with cold garbage that I had to throw. Items were missing and the ones that they sent were either stale or terrible tasting. Never going back to this place.

Visited the kitchener location today, had high hopes from this place since its near to our house. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live upto our expectation. The sambhar was the best thing among all, dosa was average, masala filing was almost the consistency of mashed potato that is made from store bought powder. Masala vada was hard and lacked proper seasoning inside, all chutneys were below average.

As a Hyderabadi living here, my expectations from south-Indian food can be of specific taste which Dosa Twist doesn’t seem to match. I might try few other items in the menu before making a conclusive opinion about this place, but for now Dakshin and Siri’s Kitchen remains my go to place for south Indian food in KWC.

Staff and service (even though its self service right now) seems to be high point of this place, please keep up the good work. Hoping to try more items in the menu to update my ratings in future.
