Wonderful place of peace and contemplating

I found a perfect place for me. I have never felt so peaceful and calm anywhere but this temple. I had the opportunity to be in tune with myself during my visits. I will be coming here as often as i am allowed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A monk had pulled a butter knife on while I was sitting inside. Other than that the environment is very peaceful.

Very beautiful sri lankan Buddhist temple . I am highly recommended this place for meditation center . Even they have a dhamma school for kids . Street parking available too

The Epicenter of Ancient Buddhism in America, This is the first Sri Lankan Buddhist monastery in USA. Anyone can come and learn. Always activities for whole familes to participate in. The monks can also speak English and are very eager to teach. A library is also available to guests. If one wants to learn true Buddhism as taught by the Buddha unchanged over the past 3000 years then One of the places in America to learn.

Buddhist Vihar in New York is a very peaceful place . You become totally calm in its atmosphere. The place is very neat and clean. It is maintained by Buddhist from USA.The religious beliefs of Buddhist people are very progressive based on scientific ideologies and no strings attached unlike in other sects.Loved the place. If you wish to visit USA must go once here.

The monks were all fantastic people. I went with a group and they gave us an hour of their time just to answer all of our questions about Buddhism and explain the story of the Buddha. The monk we were speaking with was very nice, and the first thing they did was offer us tea, which was very nice and unexpected. Overall a fantastic experience!
