It's my little hideaway. Have been going there for years, daily. Don't Tell Anybody! Keep it a secret.

The park floods over the trail every time we get heavy rain. The beavers have built a dam in the creek which causes this. My back property borders this park and it's under water during the rainy season. It's unfortunate that eventually I will need to purchase flood insurance to cover the damage being caused by something that THPRD could rectify by relocating the beavers to a location that isn't surrounded by residential properties.

It's a nice peaceful little park. It is quite literally hidden away because I found the entrance a bit difficult to spot. There is one picnic table. I didn't see any restroom. There is a nice little slope for rolling, running, or sledding down.

Best place to have a lunch time picnic to break up the work day if you are in the Gabriel Park area. In the winter months the pond floods which make for a really cool little "river" to watch

Nice out of the way uncrowded little known park. The tilted merry go round is a big hit. There is a play structure, modest swings, a small toddler house with slide and moderate but adequate play structure. Beware the convex slide and tilt-a-whirl.

Parking for about 7 cars, beaver dam and pond with a kids playground, ducks with some shade and few benches. No restrooms or water fountains so bring water and go before you go....

If you have small children to entertain the play equipment here is quite nice. During the winter and spring seasons the grassy area is mostly flooded so you won't be playing outdoor games during those times. It might be a good place to have your dog run off some energy if you don't mind muddy paws. It's a much better experience in the summertime. There always seems to be plenty of parking.
