No lost and found tent for people to turn in lost items such as keys during these big soccer tournaments.

This park is so great lots of trees and shade. A beautiful dog park. Every Wednesday they have a cute farmer’s market from 1-6pm! Highly recommend. Soccer fields are plentiful as well.

Beautiful, clean and inviting. Very family oriented. Lafreniere has expanded so much in the recent years.
You can walk, exercise on equipment there, allow your kids to play, enjoy family; allow your kids to ride on rides including boat peddling.

Too many soccer fields, most of them unused the vast majority of the time. I played soccer, my son played soccer, my grandson is starting to play now. So we enjoy playing, and I'm not a soccer hater, but this is a very inefficient use of valuable park real estate.

If you guys insist on allocating so much park land to sporting activities, here's my recommendation (which will almost certainly be ignored) as a lifelong Jefferson Parish resident:

(1) Eliminate a few of the soccer fields and build a couple baseball diamonds. I have never seen any of these marked for baseball, football, or anything
(2) A regulation track for runners to have a place to practice on a surface other than their schools
(3) Or you could just eliminate a couple of the soccer fields and plant some trees, and turn it into land that everyone can enjoy.

I'm sure there are occasions when all soccer fields are used but that is not often. There are nights where the fields are all used... but this is a tiny portion of the time. As a fan and regular user of the park, I would be much happier seeing less of these fields and either multi-sport fields or more general use park space. As a voter and JP taxpayer, I would love to see the land put to better use.
