A wonderful place to visit but it can get crowded with school groups during the week. Great for kids and adults. Check the website to view the schedule of daily activities (some change depending on month/season). Picnic tables, covered seating and playground available too. Friendly staff. Admission price is on par with other museums in the city.
beautiful outdoor area to take in the spring blooms. pitfall is there aren’t many accessible pathways. most of the walking outdoors is on grass or old paving stones.
Great place to take young kids or anyone who appreciates farm animals. Not sure if it's worth the admission more than once though, if you're just there for the gardens and plants no admission necessary.
I’ve been here twice (once in the summer and once in the winter) and I highly recommend coming here, especially if you’re with kids. The animals are so awesome to see and interact with (the ones that you’re allowed to interact with). We got to pet calves, ducklings, chicks, and rabbits! They have a great variety of farm animals to learn all about, and the museum itself (the learning centre, I think) is really fun and informative. The staff are so nice and helpful if you have any questions about the animals. They take really good care of the animals! Just be aware that the barns are kind of stinky (in case you’re sensitive to smells) and that it can be really busy on weekends and holidays, but otherwise 12/10 experience!!!
Decent place to go and learn about farm animals and agriculture as a whole. However, you can do the whole museum in 1 hour. There’s not too many interactive elements but you can see a lot of cute animals. Since there are farm animals, the smell is quite strong, so be careful if you’re sensitive to smells. Also, it was good to know that they do let the animals out of their pens.
Great place for kids. They had everything from rabbits, ducks, cows and kids play areas. Thoughtfully made with a real farm feel. The demonstration kitchen experiences were great too. Washrooms and hand washing areas were everywhere and kid friendly.
Great place to take your kids! Tons of activities and hands-on interaction with animals. The one thing that I would recommend is having more chickens or ducks in an open area for the kids and adults to interact with. I have chickens at home, and the kids love to pet them and feed them. Thank you for the wonderful service and experience 😀
