This hotel is a little gem, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pros;
Staff are amazing and so helpful they can’t do enough for you.

Rooms are amazing and offer everything you ever need. The housekeepers clean your room twice a day and bring you little snacks and extra coffee :)

The pool area is amazing and there is always room to relax.

There is a big gym on-site and offers a lot of equipment.

Cons;
The breakfast area was way too busy for the space. Fruits ran out very fast and if you came later you got the left overs.

It was very hard to get a good table to really enjoy breakfast as it was so so busy.

We stayed two nights at the Ritz Carlton. The staff was absolutely amazing and kind. They always had a smile and greeted you at every second they saw you. There was countless staff at all locations ensuring our stay was enjoyable. They even came up to my room with on my birthday to sing Happy Birthday and to give me a nice chocolate cake! I was pretty blown away by that.

We did have a leak in the ceiling in the shower which caused maintenance to stay in my room for a long time. Gayus, the on duty manager, checked on us several times and moved our room to a comparable one down the hall. He was very apologetic and wrote us a personal note. That was a nice touch, although it seems like several people have had issues with leaks.

The hotel does seem like it’s falling apart- several tiles and cracks in the pool and other areas were patched up. But the
great staff and beautiful views made for a wonderful stay.

If you are considering staying here, do not book it. This hotel is super outdated with little to no maintenance done to keep up with the other Ritz hotels. The room always had this bad odor of humidity in the bathroom area. The shower has this wood slats on the floor that can be slippery when wet. And the mosquito sprays that is kept in the rooms do not work. It's best to bring your own no matter what hotel you are staying at. And the food is horrible.

Loved our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Bali! We had a room with pool lagoon access and it was a dream. One of my top favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I loved being able to walk out of our room and jump in the pool. The service was great and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The beach is a little disappointing as the surf is so far out, but the sand is nice and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The Ritz is the great hotel, it is the third time I’m staying with them. The hotel is great the only thing that is is a bit old, but the management is working on it and some part already been renovated.
The rooms are clean and every day stuff bring fresh fruits and deserts. All rooms have a beautiful view towards sea front.
The stuff are always nice, on breakfasts we met the chief and he was personally bringing us fruit plates every morning

I stayed here in June 2023. The hotel is beautiful but a bit antiseptic in its concrete style. However, the gardens are designed to carry you through the resort in an environment of lush greenery and colourful flora. But the hotel staff seem to have had their personalities erased and are more like robots throughout the resort, from check in to wait staff.

The junior suite felt dated despite having mod cons and didn’t have an isolated bath. It was located in one of the many buildings that circle the gardens and had a nice, albeit far, view of the ocean.

The beach club is the best part of the hotel - the service is good and the food offerings are great, but the staff seem to not understand what constitutes gluten free and not one menu in the entire place identifies gluten free items.

One one occasion hot chips arrived frozen and on another occasion a gluten-free granola had to be sourced because none of the FIVE varieties of granola were considered gluten free (despite having an ingredients list suggesting no gluten ingredients were present).

The beach is nice but artificial. The water is FULL OF PLASTIC and the hotel seems to do nothing about this, despite having a significant responsibility to look after the environment.

We negotiated an exit after three days and I won’t be back.

Outstanding stay! From arrival we were greeted with local welcome drink and wet towel, doing check in next to the large balcony with magnificent views.

Room is simply amazing with direct access to a shared pool with around another ~10 rooms. Not many guests were using it so we had it to our own most of the time.

We were here for a friend’s wedding which was executed seamlessly with a great memory for the new couple and the guests.

The stay ended with a high note with the complimentary 30 min photo shoot, with one free picture to take home. We were so happy with the pictures we ended up purchasing the digital copies at a reasonable fee. The photographer is amazing, very passionate and turned around the pictures very quickly.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. Our room was wonderfully decorated for our anniversary, and we were upgraded to a lagoon access room which was perfect for swimming lovers like us.
But perhaps the best part of our trip here is the Beach Grill. We had the barefoot bbq for our anniversary and every detail of the meal exceeded our expectations—incredible staff, chefs, food, bonfire. We came back here the following evening for dinner and again, the food is one of the best we’ve ever had. You simply cannot go wrong with any of the dishes.
We really cannot wait to come back and enjoy such an amazing hotel experience!
