Sehr unfreundlich und respektlos. Ich wurde am Telefon sogar angeschrien. Leider waren die Informationen, die wir bekommen haben auch inkorrekt. Mein Freund (Mexikaner) wollte 2021 zu mir nach Österreich ziehen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass die Unis keine ausländischen Studenten wegen Covid aufnehmen würden. Natürlich gelogen. Sie haben auch gesagt, es gäbe keine Möglichkeit für ihn, nach Österreich einzureisen (wegen Covid). Natürlich auch gelogen. 2 Wochen später haben wir uns auf eigene Faust auf den Weg gemacht und wiederum 2 Wochen später hatte er den Aufenthaltstitel und hat sein Studium begonnen. Alles legal, alles problemfrei. Die Botschaft hat leider nicht geholfen, sondern nur falsche Auskünfte erteilt. Ich empfehle allen, sie nach möglichkeit zu vermeiden. Das Internet ist informativer und schreit dich nicht an.
Excellent attention, very polite!
Frau Peter Schebesta was super helpful to process my daughters passport. She really went out of her way to help me and explain me everything thoroughly. Also her colleague was so kind to expedite my daughters emergency passport even though they had tons of work! I am grateful that they helped me out when I was in a rush and travelling alone with my young daughter.
Terrible attention, I scheduled my appointment a month ahead, I had all papers ready and was treated very poorly by the staff. Several occurrences happened during the appointment.
1. The staff seemed very entitled, and explicitly said "We are doing you a favour". Just because the visa was exempt from any fees.
2. I got told while I was there multiple times that my application will not be approved when I had all the needed documents. Spoiler alert: They approved my visa.
Very entitled, once I was in Austria a lot more Mexicans shared that their experiences were very similar.

Hab über 6x dort angerufen. Keiner drangegangen. Sehr toll wenn man etwas dringendes braucht!!!
Awful attention.
They didn't answer phone calls or emails, appointment's web page didn't work, and if you get there they don't receive you, or they had bad attitude.
Only the security man is kind.
