WOW... lived in Queensland for 12 yrs... never been here until today... what a treasure... Beautiful grounds all tended Beautifully by the staff... privately owned and operated... the animals are VERY well looked after..healthy and look content..certain enclosurs have water features and running streams, I was very excited to see so many koalas 🐨 awake... many were just joey's when orphaned and rescued ..I went with my husband, and grownup son visiting from the UK..I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience... Please take time to visit Wildlife HQ.. You won't be disappointed 🐒🐇🐿🦇🦃🐨🦥🦘🐤🐍

Normally not a big fan of zoos but this place is done about as good a job as you possibly can to make the animals feel comfortable and provide a good experience for visitors.

The enclosures were all appropriately sized for the animals and were full of vegetation and enrichment items for the animals. Despite this, it was easy to see the animals and the talks/shows as well as the feeding, ensured you got to see lots of activity.

Only downside was the limited food selection from the cafe but that's a pretty low priority for a zoo, so I can't hold that against them.

Would suggest leaving ~3 hours for a visit and, if possible, come when it's not stifling hot.

Visited for the first time last week and had a lovely stroll around the zoo. The Emperor Tamarins are the cutest!

Timeframe: It took me about two hours to get around the zoo, stopping to take photos throughout, but didn't go stop for any of the zookeeper talks.

There is a cafe on site.

Wildlife HQ grows every time i visit! Its a smaller zoo with a mix of farm life meets jungle.
Animal experiences are amazing, staff are patient, don't hurry you, informative.... I know prices are going up but at my time, cheaper than most zoo's. We had a lot of difficulty getting my friend around in a wheelchair - you will have to have someone that can manually manage the chair.

Wonderful sanctuary with a great variety of animals. It’s so peaceful the way it’s set in the rainforest. The animal enclosures are spacious and well maintained. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the vibe. Wheel chair and stroller friendly, didn’t feel crowded as there is lots of space. Visitors and locals alike should support this place as it does so much for endangered species as well.

Absolutely beautiful and quiet zoo. There are lots of shady spots and places to sit. The enclosures are very clean and the animals have plenty of space. We spent about three hours there. The whole place has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Park was okay, and a nice way to spend a few hours, although arguably not as good as other wildlife parks in the area. The park was relatively quiet, and the staff and keepers were quite friendly. A few of the animals were pacing which felt like something wasn’t quite right with the enclosure or care (although not an expert here…).
