The environment is good , big and spacious . We sat outside as the weather was good and chilly .Please do make a booking as during peak hours there will be a lot of people . The foods portions are huge & flavourful . Lots of tourists will flock here to have their meals . The meals are quite delicious & authentic German . One of the best German foods I have had ever eaten . Bought their merchandise too .

Das Restaurant im Stadtzentrum hinterließ ausschließlich positive Eindrücke. Das Interieur des Lokals ist elegant und gemütlich und schafft eine Atmosphäre von Behaglichkeit und Komfort. Der Service war erstklassig – das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam und bereit, bei der Auswahl der Gerichte zu helfen.

The most fresh beer in the town… Highly recommended. Serving size of the dishes is big. You should order one dish for two people. Extremely clean and hygienic place. Toilets are clean and neat.. One of the “A must see places” in Frankfurt. You should make a reservation for dinner especially for big groups.

Wir hatten eine massiv überforderte Kellnerin. 4 Personen bestellen gleichzeitig. 3 Essen kommen. Auf die Reklamation kommt nur ein. kommt gleich auch. Es wurde vergessen, neu aufgegeben und war nach 15 Minuten dann da. Auch wurden wir am Tisch erst nach ca. 15-20 Minuten wahrgenommen und anscheinend ungern bedient.
Die Treppe zu den Toiletten ist massiv steil und gefährlich. 1 Handlauf endet 1 m vor dem Ende. Es wirkte alles etwas chaotisch, da kam dann auch keine rechte Paulaner-Stimmung auf. Und ich war schon in Vielen. Das Essen war recht gut und reichhaltig.

I highly recommend this German cuisine restaurant; it has a nice vibe, food, and service. Their waiter is so friendly and tries his best to arrange the table for their customers, even after having booked. The food was delicious and outstanding; the soup was a big surprise, so yummy.

We chose this place for lunch. Firstly, I must mention that the atmosphere and interior design are very nice. Also, being next to the Cathedral of Frankfurt adds to its unique vibe.

As for the food, after we placed our order, the salad came first, which was a good practice considering the waiting time. I opted for the Schnitzel, but I must say it was the worst Schnitzel I've ever had. Overall, the taste of fried oil was dominant, and there was no trace of the crispy outer coating I expected from a Schnitzel. Apart from the traditional Frankfurt Grüne Soße and tasty potatoes, the Schnitzel was a complete disappointment. However, the Pork Knuckle Schweinshaxe and White Sausages were quite delicious.

Regarding the service, since the waiting time for the meals was stated on the menu, you don't have high expectations for arrival of the food.

As conclusion, except the Schnitzel, our overall experience was enjoyable. Next time I might give other items on the menu a chance.

This is a good restaurant I like, traditional beer house with good pork knuckle, sausages Munich beers. Environment is also great, you have a half hour walk after big meal, forgot yourself in the historical heritage, beautiful buildings of the old town.
